Just out of interest, as I’ve really been enjoying the fridge contents threads! Also, I’m in a bit of a recipe rut, so could use some inspiration.

We are a family of four, (2 adults and 2 dcs). I eat mainly veggie, but, since my family can’t seem to agree on veggie meals that we all like, I now just cook meat for the rest of the family and adapt it, so it’s suitable for me too.

Our favourites are:

  • roast dinner
  • choose-your-own-toppings pizza
  • pasta and veggie tomato sauce
  • sausage mash & gravy
  • Buddha bowl / salad type things with everyone’s favourite things

Roast (would happily eat twice a week)v
Pasta of all kinds (esp tuna, meatballs, lardon and mushroom)
Pie (Fish, Shepherds, Chicken, Steak)
Toad in the Hole
Home made pizza

I am hoping ASD kids will begin to eat more adventurous stuff now like Mexican, Spanish, Chinese and Indian food. We have just persuaded girlchild to eat butter chicken curry :) I love all kinds of foods but will only cook 1 kind of dinner per night.
