Knowing that Louise may be in the 9-5 musical puts me off wanting to see it.
I don't believe she has voice suitable for musical role but happy to be proven wrong.

Emma's is just so dross. She's come back after all that time and released exactly the same song as before.

To be fair Peter Andre didn't have a whole lot to "come back" from...
I saw Louise in Caberet; her acting was dreadful, but her voice was genuinely amazing...and that's fro. Someone who despised her for her "the girl next door /white one everyone fancied in Eternal". She should stick to musicals. But ones with less acting. Very little any ex-spice girl has contributed to the world of popular culture was necessary or required in any way, by anyone. The only exception that comes to mind is that song Mel C did with Brian Adams. But thats mostly cos you can't really hear her.

I feel a bit sorry for Louise. Jamie is by all accounts a serial shagger. She probably felt she needed an escape. She’s returning to work but maybe her skills aren’t in demand any more.

IIRC she tripped in the street and was quite badly injured. Having done this myself (yes really, long ago) I can vouch for it being potentially quite serious. I felt like I'd been in a (minor) car crash, needed stitches in my face, was limping badly for a bit, etc.

But back to the point. Her song didn't sound TOO bad, not that it's really my thing, but Emma Bunton's? I got 35 seconds in to the video but it was just so cringey, I had to turn it off. Felt really embarrassed for her!

I watched 1 minute of Emma Bunton's video linked above and couldn't take any more.

I have a question though for the experts among you - what is exactly is it about her perfomance that makes it so cringey? I thought maybe it's because she looked a bit uncomfortable singing - but it can't be that surely. she's a very seasoned performer over many many years with the Spice Girls.

What is it? I can't put my finger on it.

I saw her as Sally Bowles in Cabaret and thought she was great.

Dear God. She used to be young and embarrassing to watch, now she's middle aged and even more embarrassing.

The Louise song is a bit 'Trickymix' for my liking.

She is 44, couldn't she have picked a more mature subject than 'stretching my body, keep me up on my toes boy'.

Emma is gorgeous and has a great figure.

However, standing in heels filming for 10+ hours would not make you laugh like a drain.

rugby I found the laughing parts embarrassing, the whole idea of "this is meant to be spontaneous, look at how much fun I'm having", when obviously we all know that it was all set up for the video.

@RugbyRugby for me it's having her children in it when she's singing "baby don't stop". And it's just such a dated song and video style. She is a woman of an age where she could tell a much more substantial story in a performance, rather than this dated fluff.

It wasn't so much the singing (not my my style) but the song which peddled the sort of sexist crap I don't like from anyone.

OMG that Emma Buton video - so, so cringey and so fake and her singing just sounds like heavy beathing. Really, really bad. I like Louise and don't think she had an easy time being married to Jamie, so sort of hoping her musical career takes off, her new single isn't really my sort of music, but it's nice to hear that her voice was good in cabaret, that might be the direction in which her career needs to go
