To think DH should accept that this post was about him?

Bird has been chirping loudly outside of our bedroom window at the same time past few days. Sounds like an owl as it’s so loud. Yesterday it woke me up at 5.30am and same time today. Today I managed to get back to sleep only to be awoken by DH standing st the bedroom window stark bollock naked screaming and shouting. I told him to stop it as it would disturb the neighbours (it was only 6.30am) and he shouted that the bird had woken him up again on his only day off.
I got up at 8.30 and went on Facebook. Our area has its own Facebook page and there was a post on there about the nutter screaming and shouting at 6.30am. It must have been about DH as the times and words were identical! It had loads of replies, all angry etc saying they’d heard it too and it had woken children etc. I told him when he got up and he’s insisting that it wasn’t about him but was probably about the yobs that have been causing trouble but the wording was identical to what he was shouting!! AIBU to think it’s abdolutely obvious that the post was about him and he should recognise that??

@babyno5 I think we are neighbours! Town wise I mean.

I really want to know if the parody page has covered this!!

darthbreakz · 26/03/2019 17:44

Brilliant!

MitziK · 26/03/2019 17:53

You need a NC.

Can I suggest HeShoutsAtOwls?

babyno5 · 26/03/2019 18:06

@eurgh 👋. I couldn't believe what I was reading last night 😂

VeryLittleOwl · 26/03/2019 18:14

I heard our cuckoo for the first time today, so I have some sympathy with your husband - by the beginning of June I'll be ready to hunt the little bastard and his 4am wake-up calls down and do some serious damage!

LakieLady Re:
Silent Pool (I grew up near there) gin advert very annoying

the pretentious "intricately realised" bollix Yessss! Who are those people? I know who they think they are... As I grew up near there I can affirm that I found the area to have a vastly high proportion of people who had mastered that sought after yoga pose "headup yerarse" and the next most popular in the area, "lickyerarse" while simultaneously performing "stabyer inyerback".

The Silent Pool is just off the A25 in Surrey, before Shere village. The village of the lovely Church, featured on many films.

Hyperbole-and-a-half feels OP's husband's pain.

My little blackbird friend was having a conniption in the ivy today. I was half terrified for a minute he'd been got by a cat. Nope. Turns out another mister blackbird tried to muscle in on his turf and his misses and he gave that birdy short shrift and a quick kicking out of the ivy. Brought me back to your husband and what they'd have thought him standing there starkers yelling at them Grin

HeavyLocks · 27/03/2019 18:30

Try fucking woodpeckers at 5.30am

I'll pass Grin

Myusernameismud · 27/03/2019 19:01

@eurgh & @babyno5 I'm an almost neighbour too. Well, OK we moved away last year and I was in the next nearest town, in the next county. Still on the page because I just can't stop reading all the ridiculous posts.

babyno5 · 27/03/2019 19:04

@Myusernameismud it's always fabulous entertainment 😂😂 👋

notsosunnyhols · 08/04/2019 08:26

I still love this! Has he realised it's him yet?!
