To think DH should accept that this post was about him?

Bird has been chirping loudly outside of our bedroom window at the same time past few days. Sounds like an owl as it’s so loud. Yesterday it woke me up at 5.30am and same time today. Today I managed to get back to sleep only to be awoken by DH standing st the bedroom window stark bollock naked screaming and shouting. I told him to stop it as it would disturb the neighbours (it was only 6.30am) and he shouted that the bird had woken him up again on his only day off.
I got up at 8.30 and went on Facebook. Our area has its own Facebook page and there was a post on there about the nutter screaming and shouting at 6.30am. It must have been about DH as the times and words were identical! It had loads of replies, all angry etc saying they’d heard it too and it had woken children etc. I told him when he got up and he’s insisting that it wasn’t about him but was probably about the yobs that have been causing trouble but the wording was identical to what he was shouting!! AIBU to think it’s abdolutely obvious that the post was about him and he should recognise that??

MissFitton · 24/03/2019 19:46

I'm now picturing your husband as John Cleese. Am I close?

CaptainSquirrel · 24/03/2019 19:46

If I was the owl I'd shit on him.

OrangeJuiceandArmchairs · 24/03/2019 19:47

Was it the Owl's mum posting?

"To the aggressive man shouting at my son this morning..."

ShaggyRug · 24/03/2019 19:47

“Twat was that? I cunt hear you?”

fblake · 24/03/2019 19:52

mildshock · 24/03/2019 20:31

😂 is he usually so batshit?

minisoksmakehardwork · 24/03/2019 20:34

Definitely him. I think you should respond with 'at least you didn't have to SEE and hear the spectacle!'

pivoski · 24/03/2019 20:35

Just be glad that post doesn't have a video attached! Grin

killpop · 24/03/2019 20:36

What a dick. And that's nothing to do with the lack of clothing.

chocolateisnecessary · 24/03/2019 20:37

OMG that's hilarious!

Lovestonap · 24/03/2019 20:38

Wood pigeon woke me up this morning. Feathery cunt.

ChrisPrattsFace · 24/03/2019 20:38

My DH done the same to an owl once. Screaming out the bedroom window at 4am!
Luckily we have no neighbours so only the owl was offended 😂

Phantastic · 24/03/2019 20:38

😂😂 At imagining a crazy naked man screaming and shouting at a bird to "SHUT UP!! " Priceless!

MamaLovesMango · 24/03/2019 20:40

For next time?

To think DH should accept that this post was about him?
SabineUndine · 24/03/2019 20:40

Did it mention bollocks on show? Grin

pointythings · 24/03/2019 20:43

Yep, definitely about him. Your DH needs to learn to control himself. Birds can be massively annoying though, and you don't always get used to them,. We have starlings in the eaves and they have tapdancing contests in hob-nailed boots every morning at sunrise. Always wakes me up. I've learned to drop off again though.

CostanzaG · 24/03/2019 20:44

Haha reminds of the time the village owl decided to become quite vocal near our house. My DH can do an impressive owl impression and took to 'talking' to the owl on an evening. Our local Facebook group was full of comments of how lovely it was that the village owl had found a mate....could bring myself to say it was DH having a 'chat' when he took out the recycling 😂😂😂

This made me properly laugh

Motoko · 24/03/2019 20:54

Of course he realises it's about him, he's just too embarrassed to admit it. He's probably also worried that someone might have seen him, if there are houses opposite, maybe even videoed him and is posting it all over social media, or YouTube!
