To think DH should accept that this post was about him?

Bird has been chirping loudly outside of our bedroom window at the same time past few days. Sounds like an owl as it’s so loud. Yesterday it woke me up at 5.30am and same time today. Today I managed to get back to sleep only to be awoken by DH standing st the bedroom window stark bollock naked screaming and shouting. I told him to stop it as it would disturb the neighbours (it was only 6.30am) and he shouted that the bird had woken him up again on his only day off.
I got up at 8.30 and went on Facebook. Our area has its own Facebook page and there was a post on there about the nutter screaming and shouting at 6.30am. It must have been about DH as the times and words were identical! It had loads of replies, all angry etc saying they’d heard it too and it had woken children etc. I told him when he got up and he’s insisting that it wasn’t about him but was probably about the yobs that have been causing trouble but the wording was identical to what he was shouting!! AIBU to think it’s abdolutely obvious that the post was about him and he should recognise that??

I'd rather be woken up by this than the sound of a neighbours 'dd' having loud sex with her partner ( as heard last week )
Or same girl squabbling ( going completely mental) at same bloke the other week.
A funny post though op.
Might be good idea for him to put some trousers on next time just in case!

CostanzaG · 25/03/2019 21:10

oldraver no I haven't....sounds delightful though! 😂
The neighbours clearly haven't either as they're still convinced there are two of them!
My friend knows it's my DH so often comments on the owl based threads with some random link to my DH. Confuses the hell out of everyone.

manicmij · 25/03/2019 21:11

YANBU. At that time of the morning sound would travel easily so probably was your DH. Why on earth are birds so a annoying? If they waken you up in the morning you probably don't need the sleep.

Fowles94 · 25/03/2019 21:12

I think its hilarious and I've been drove to scream at a wood pigeon before 😂

Supermum29 · 25/03/2019 21:15

Bet the birds wished he put his pecker away 🤣

CaptainSquirrel · 25/03/2019 21:22

I too would much rather hear pigeons than our normal outside noise which is the local junkies arguing about which cunt knocked over the bottle of cider while their dogs go nuts (probably pissed and/or smacked out themselves, stupid animals).

Btw, when pigeons talk, what they're saying is "my toe hurts, Betty". Honest truth.

Gromit78 · 25/03/2019 21:30

I would have recorded it and posted it on YouTube. That sort of thing would have gone viral. I think it's like Homer Simpson or Basil Fawlty.

LoudJazzHands · 25/03/2019 21:33

Try fucking woodpeckers at 5.30am Angry

LoudJazzHands · 25/03/2019 21:34

Or "try listening to fucking woodpeckers at 5.30am" might have been a better way to phrase that.

MitziK · 25/03/2019 21:39

Yeah, you wouldn't want the Lesser Ranting Cock getting involved with fucking woodpeckers, would you?

Itssosunny · 25/03/2019 21:43

Btw, when pigeons talk, what they're saying is "my toe hurts, Betty". Honest truth

Haha but honestly, with that frequency of the flapping wings to me it rather sounds as, "Fook me-fook me and fook yu-fook yu."

whyamievenamazeddotcom · 25/03/2019 23:07

I’d just be grateful they only heard him and not saw him now that really be something for the neighbourhood to talk about !

NicoAndTheNiners · 25/03/2019 23:17

So have they worked out which house the shouting was coming from?

Or was it more of a random venting trying to work out who it was /blaming some random person wondering down the street post....?

Because if the latter you need to cover your dh's tracks by posting that you heard it too and are very annoyed to have been woken up, etc.

babyno5 · 26/03/2019 00:03

Classic on our local FB group tonight 😂

To think DH should accept that this post was about him?
PhalangeReginaPhalange · 26/03/2019 00:11

I couldn’t explain this thread to my DH for laughing

originallyfromLA · 26/03/2019 00:27

That vision.....a naked grown man screaming at an owl in the middle of the night.....one of the funniest things I've ever read on here 🤣🤣🤣

Ruru8thestars · 26/03/2019 05:23

Hilarious

Monty27 · 26/03/2019 05:31

He needs a pussycat. And a pea green boat.
That'll teach him Grin

BringMeAGinandTonic · 26/03/2019 05:35

"Our area is completely silent at that time in the morning, no traffic, nothing. Deadly silence. Then there’s DH stood there with his nob out screaming at a bird to shut the fuck up and go somewhere else."

OMG. I was laughing out loud. You painted that picture so well.

Pinkbutton85 · 26/03/2019 05:40

This is hilarious and to anyone saying different, lighten the fuck up Grin

youknowmedontyou · 26/03/2019 05:44

Crikey that bird really ruffled his feathers!

Teacher22 · 26/03/2019 06:51

Have you considered that he knows very well it was him and is embarrassed and in denial?

mummmy2017 · 26/03/2019 07:09

I have a confession, a bird nesting in the roof of the house we left many years ago.
It never arrived till late spring.
The landlord moved back into the house and it sounded like a rat.

They spent loads trying to find the culprit.
When it got sold again, I was friends with new owners who had got it cheap....So I told them, they blocked up the hole and put a nest box near by...

FabulouslyFab · 26/03/2019 09:24

@LoudJazzHands - that really made me lol!!! 😂

Leapfrog44 · 26/03/2019 10:27

He needs to get some ear plugs and put them in on the days he needs a sleep in. Wildlife is in such a decline all over the world it seems awful to be so upset over an owl. I'd feel privileged to live near an owl , even if it woke me at 5.30am
