Don’t know how accurate this is but vince cable tweeted from the march earlier and said 60 per cent now in favour of remaining. No idea of the accuracy of those stats (or any, stats were wrong in June 2016) but surely remaining is better than this shit storm?

Revoke A50 has broken the record by a considerable margin for signatures on a parliamentary petition. I would argue that is meaningful. Not everyone uses the internet. Some of the Remainers have probably given up in despair.

The 'Leave with No Deal' petition only has 489,122 signatures, for context.

Possibly not, as more Tory mps are remainers than leavers so it's more likely another remainer would win, and much less likely someone with extreme views like no deal would gain the premier role. And no deal really is the extreme minority view,

Clearly though it's about more than that and personality and who it is counts, but in straight stats it is unlikely the majority of Tory mps would vote for someone to be prime minister and leader iif their view was no deal, particularly as it's also not supported by rhe majority of the public.

If MPs voted to revoke A50 -wouldn’ that actually would be democratic as they were elected??

The good Friday agreement was democratically voted for (only by a massive majority) but Brexit directly contravenes it, so how does that help ‘democracy’
