I don’t think I could cope with the long sentences and general wordiness! I’d find it exhausting and would have stopped paying attention before he got to the end of whatever he was saying. But I like him as speaker.

Oh, and i like his ties. And his sweater and man bag were lovely. See yesterday’s haranguing of him by the BBC in the street.

I think it’s because he reminds me of a teacher I had in sixth form who instigated a thing in me for articulate, bossy older men at a formative time for my sexuality

Also, for all those dissing short men - while I may now be married to a very tall man, I can reliably report that the short men with whom i have been ‘acquainted’ have had erm, very concentrated testosterone
