AIBU to think Mrs Hinch should be a bit more honest to her followers about her past? Rather than the likeable, albeit slightly ditty hairdresser she portrays herself to be, she was previously a successful sales person who worked in the City. Herself and her husband paid for articles in the National Press when the Hinch craze first started. He also calls her viewers “Shoppers” on her Insta feed. Nice.

Quirky I'm sorry you suffered from PND and I'm sure people suffering from depression are more likely to be vulnerable in the way you describe.

I don't think that has anything to do with being a young and non-professional mum though. I suffered from mild PND, I was a professional in my thirties. Sadly I think anyone can suffer from MH issues.

We name changed for the archers 100 threads thread. I didn't realise there was already a borsetshireblue when I picked this.

It's not my thing (we have a cleaner once a fortnight and I do minimal cleaning in between) but I don't get all the slagging off she gets about her grey furnishings. It's her house so it's only important that she likes it. I'm sure she gives zero fucks that some mumsnetters think that it's chavvy? (I'm sure she'll console herself by checking her bank balance).

Oh great, so the FB page will be full of sewing machines for people to dust.

The FB is amusing as it’s usually a brag fest about how much cleaning someone’s done in one day. The ones where they’ve spent 4 hours scrubbing a small kitchen and “look what my kids have done to the lounge whilst I’ve been busy” (cue photo of toys strewn all over) are a bit but in the middle of all that you can get some really great tips, so I’m hesitant to delete as some of the advice is great.

This really surprised me as she does not come across as very bright nor well spoken or versed. All the 'maaaate' on the end of every sentence wouldn't have gone down well in the City I would have thought. I feel very sorry for the amount of chemicals that her unborn baby has ingested.

There has been a upsurge in the promotion of the cleaning IGers recently. Only a few days ago Lindsey Queen of Clean did a Take a Break type of story about how she started cleaning when she found out her husband was a paedophile. It's as if they are all one MLM and are racing to the top.

The cleaning accounts are just so odd anyway IMO. They are 'cleaning' brand new bathroom/kitchens that were already clean and sparkling anyway. There was one who used to clean the (already clean) bath by filling it to the top and then adding fabric softener, zoflora and 50 million other chemicals. She did this very regularly and all I could think about was her water bill.

I think she does the sort of cleaning that I would do periodically but she does it every day so effectively cleaning clean things.

That said you only see a small snapshot of her life, and she must be quite careful what she shares.

Another plus is she's not bleating about being pregnant endlessly like some Bloggers.

She's neither a phoney nor dangerous. If you think she uses too much cleaner products you can make a different choice in your own home because you are a grown up.

I find her amusing. I have no interest in her past. She is no different to the cast of TOWIE and Chelsea and whoever else. They are on there to promote their businesses. This woman has done it alone. Good on her i say. It won't last. Someone new will come along soon, so there will be fresh meat to bitch about.

It looks like easy money, but they sell their privacy. Not really something to be jealous of, is it?

If you mean she's dangerous because some people feel the need to copy and go out and buy what she does just because they want it too - meh, that's up to them, surely. Unless you mean she's dangerous because the amount of sewn finger accidents or poking self with needles might go up?

Buy it with wonderful ideas about the amazing things I was going to create.

Leave sewing machine on table for several weeks, occasional dust.

Try to use sewing machine, fail miserably.

Put machine back in box then put in cupboard out of sight.

Put machine on eBay and sell for a lot less than I paid for it.

Family look smug, wagging their fingers saying I told you so.

Get the hump and mumble that at least you tried.

I'd never heard of her until another Mumsnet post a couple of weeks ago.

People do well on Instagram if they think of something a little bit different, and they're the right balance of aspirational and achievable for their target audience.

Enjoy her for what it is if it's your kind of thing but with any social media 'star' never get sucked in to the 'oh it's all so accidental how I ended up with these followers, I don't know how it happened' line, as these days it's always been carefully orchestrated. It's the equivalent of celebrities saying they've got great skin because they drink lots of water.

She's got something like 2m followers! This is incredible to me. Her Instagram is literally shots of her (naff) house, I simply don't get it.

I hope it has brought her untold riches but they seem to still live in that tiny house - unless that's part of the image and they actually live somewhere amazing.

I imagine she and her husband are quite canny with money and probably furiously paying off the mortgage knowing full well that her income won't last forever! Why would they buy a bigger house on the basis of instagram income unless they were totally stupid?

I don't think she has to give us her complete life story, but I do think the whole thing is barmy!

To be honest I just assumed she was really dull..

Maybe, I don't know about an extension, I don't watch all her stories but I haven't seen it mentioned
