I can feel the mood among Remainers, both IRL and online changing.

To Think Remainers Are Starting To Get Really Angry About Brexit?
jasjas1973 · 12/03/2019 20:15

Anger but determination that we will at least have a PV, if not revoke.

I'll be going to London and marching, as (once again) a generation that has benefited from EU membership has decided to take it away from the young.

PiebaldHamster · 12/03/2019 20:17

Just lost another 'friend' who's rampantly posting 'NO DEAL!' all over his page. Unfriend. Dumb ass mother fucker.

OddBoots · 12/03/2019 20:17

I'm very angry with the likes of Johnson and Rees-Mogg, those with the status that lets them profit from all this while having the absolute fucking cheek to call those who want to remain elite.

Chickoletta · 12/03/2019 20:18

Furious.

nauseous5000 · 12/03/2019 20:18

Anger is a strong word. I have been cross since 2016. Cross that people including DP didn't vote, cross that people believed lies on the side of a bus, cross that for many they seem to have voted leave because of immigration alone. Now I'm cross that leavers still think the EU owes us and should give us what we want and keep putting them down

MaMaMaMySharona · 12/03/2019 20:18

I don’t understand the certainty of some posters that Brexit now won’t happen - but I’d like to! Can someone explain for me please?

needmorespace · 12/03/2019 20:19

I'm not more angry, I'm just as angry as I have been since June 2016.
And even if we revoke, a lot of damage has been done and money wasted.
Does anyone know how much this shitshow has cost thus far, I'm sure I read it was around £80billion, but not sure where I read this?

ThatLibraryMiss · 12/03/2019 20:19

a generation that has benefited from EU membership has decided to take it away from the young.

Please don't tar all of my generation with the same brush. I think I know only one person who voted Leave, and he's much younger than I.

I'm furious about people like Jacob Rees Mogg making a bloody private fortune out of investments portfolios connected to Brexit. There was a channel 4 programme about it the other day. The 'other half' certainly live differently, they can get away with bloody murder. Shameful shameful shameful. I'm furious that we can do fuck all about it. Angry

e1y1 · 12/03/2019 20:21

I don't know why as its looking quite likely we won't be leaving now anyway, so It should be the leavers being pissed off and angry

This with bells on.

keepforgettingmyusername · 12/03/2019 20:22

Who wouldn't be angry? The entire government focus has been on Brexit for years, wasting who knows how much of our money? And ignoring the desperate need for change. People are dying on NHS waiting lists and 3.7 million children in the UK are living in poverty. And instead of working on that, our Government is fannying around and actively trying to make things worse for us by leaving the EU. Who wouldn't be angry at that? (The answer is rich Tory MPs with offshore banking interests who wish to leave the EU so they won't be affected by laws that come in on 1st April clamping down on offshore tax avoidance schemes.)

MilkTrayLimeBarrel · 12/03/2019 20:22

Why is it always about the 'young'? They can still go everywhere else in the world shoud they want to, and what is stopping them going to Europe anyway?

S1naidSucks · 12/03/2019 20:22

I'm Irish, living in Ireland and I'm v angry that Great Britain is about to sink and drag Ireland down with it

You want to be living on the North side of the British border in Ireland (it’s not a fucking Irish border). They’ve not just voted the uk and NI out, but condemned us to a potential return to the troubles. When the first person is murdered because they fuck with the border, will the remainers admit that they either voted in ignorance or don’t give a shit that some of us might die, for their stupid fucking unicorn!

ThatLibraryMiss · 12/03/2019 20:23

nauseous, I'm bloody furious that the twit I know who voted Leave (actually, he's the second Leaver I know, and in his 20s) asked me the following day, "So, what do you think happens now?" He hadn't a clue but he "just thought it was time for a change".

I hope he's proud of himself. IDIOT.

Silvercatowner · 12/03/2019 20:23

As a type 1 insulin dependent I'm frightened I will die

Hugs. OH is type 1 and I'm really scared. I'm stockpiling painkillers (arthritis) but insulin doesn't keep.

needmorespace · 12/03/2019 20:23

^ that's clearly not correct Blush

FuzzyShadowChatter · 12/03/2019 20:23

I haven't really noticed that. Most remainers I know are more frustrated with the uncertainty.

As I was telling a friend earlier, as much as I'd prefer the Brexit shit not hit the fan, I'd rather we knew what shit was going to hit rather than this continuous draining unknowns that have been going on. I mean, yeah, some things we won't know until/if it happens, but what is still up in the air and going on is just frustratingly bonkers.

Imustbemad00 · 12/03/2019 20:24

Why are people furious to the point it’s affecting them? I can honestly say I barely think about it. Nobody I know in real life talks about it.

Can anyone tell me the direct effects they think it’s going to have on their children’s futures?
I’m slightly worried about airport delays in May but that’s about it.

S1naidSucks · 12/03/2019 20:25

will the remainers admit that they bollocks! I mean leavers! Angry texting.

Silvercatowner · 12/03/2019 20:27

Nobody I know in real life talks about it

Seriously?? Do you live in a parallel universe?

DarkYearForMySoul · 12/03/2019 20:27

I was so angry went on my 1st ever political march last year. There were so many lovely families marching it was great. So then joined local People’s Vote group (find yours here www.peoples-vote.uk/your_local_group ). It’s been great working to make a PV happen 😁 Feel so much better now 😁

TheWomanin12B · 12/03/2019 20:28

If you aren't angry, it's because you've got your head in the sand tbh.

Bunnyfuller · 12/03/2019 20:29

I’m no longer angry. I’ve disengaged. We knew it would be shit, it’s confirmed as going to be shit, and it would appear there’s no arguing with stupid.

Just don’t come begging to me for fucking fresh fruit and veg.
