Unfinished, I wentt to a sink estate school which was under funded, I had no desk at home to study and my parents could not help me with my work. My mum cannot read or write very well, I suspect now she would have had an SEN dx, (her Parents did nott speak English when they arrived here, so had low paid jobs also) but not then, she was put to work on the pot bank as a hand painter, she is very talented that way. We had very little money. My dad had ambitions but not the opportunity, his dad was considered a wrong'un so he was written off too and got in with a bad crowd. I really resent the implication in your post that I am poor because I am lazy. I work in community projects and I work hard, I have been a SM for 20+ years. I have had scraps of jobs, but that's it.
