I can feel the mood among Remainers, both IRL and online changing.

Passed angry.

Depressed by the whole sad, squalid mess.

Pumperthepumper · 12/03/2019 22:16

Oh! Just caught my name there from a poster determined not to engage with me! Your posts are very difficult to understand bacuse you’re so desperate for a fight, and to be seen as this weird martyr, sacrificing your future so the children can have a better life without stopping for a second to think what total bullshit that is. I’m not defensive, I’m pissed off because you’re so wrong and you’ve led us all into this mess.

Justheretogiveaviewfrommyworld · 12/03/2019 22:16

How the gov. uses the EU to maintain it is the problem though, I have been clear on this in my previous posts. The overall point is, I like you, used my 1 vote in the way that I thought best for me. I don't condemn you for your choice, so why do you condemn me for mine? I think we need to focus on the commonality, that all who voted voted for what they thought best.

Sure, I'm the one up for a fight! Hmm

onthenaughtystepagain · 12/03/2019 22:19

No anger, enjoying watching the Tories destroy themselves
And how would St Jeremy and the red-shirts have handled it? Whoever was in charge would have failed to deliver as there were no negotiations, one country made proposals and the other 26 (or in reality Germany + 25) say No.

The 26 realise that losing the UK would be a financial nightmare, had it been Greece, Spain, Italy they would have been holding the door open!
Hopefully there'll never be another referendum on any subject, single issue votes almost always go the way of the biggest liar, in this case the Big Red Bus and Forage.

Justheretogiveaviewfrommyworld · 12/03/2019 22:20

My 1 vote led you here! Yes, that's right and I'm the martyr. I do wantt a better life for kids like mine, you're apparently so angry with me because I've fucked your kids over, what's the difference?!

Pumperthepumper · 12/03/2019 22:20

Just you’ve been antagonistic the whole way through this thread because your reading comprehension is piss poor. Stop addressing posts to me, even with the wee strike through, and we’re done here.

LaurieMarlow · 12/03/2019 22:20

Laurie, it will gett rid of their whipping boy

So you’d actually make them materially worse off for that? Christ on a bike, the mind boggles. Confused

You think the government can’t come up with new whipping boys? Or keep blaming the old ones regardless? You actually think in a post EU future they’ll hold up their hands and say ‘sorry, it was all our fault all along, we’ll sort it out’.

Of all the mind blowing reasons to vote leave, that’s as incomprehensible as it gets.

BIWI · 12/03/2019 22:22

Firstly, why did yo think it was 'best'?

And second, do you still think it's 'best'?

And if it's best for you, what about the rest of the country? Do you think that leaving will be best for all of us?

I'll be clear. I can't see how leaving the EU will benefit any of us in the UK, and I certainly don't think it's going to benefit anyone in poorer parts of the UK. (And I get the impression that you are, although correct me if I'm wrong)

Pumperthepumper · 12/03/2019 22:22

You want a better life for your kids by fucking over their future? You said yourself that you voted to ‘stop the tories hiding behind their smokescreen’ - petty, selfish and poorly thought out.

ElenadeClermont · 12/03/2019 22:22

I was angry in June 2016. Incandescent more like.

mirime · 12/03/2019 22:24

"You chose to maintain the status quo. If that's working for you, lovely."

You know what was working for me? Knowing that my husband could get the medication he needs to stay alive. If a no deal Brexit happens who the fuck knows if that situation will continue.

I'm quite keen on the GFA agreement as well.

Lots of things weren't working for me, but I don't think the EU was the root cause of the problems and don't see how severely damaging our economy and having to negotiate worse trade deals than the ones we had as part of the EU helps anyone.

Laurie, no I think people will be angry and that will generate change, that's what I hope for. At the moment the divide is too big and a lot of people to comfortable to rally for change. I'm hoping we will all come together in a post Brexit world and address the inequality in UK.

I actually feel quite sorry for you because I’m sure you know on some level the damage the leave vote will do to the people you’re trying to protect.

Justheretogiveaviewfrommyworld · 12/03/2019 22:27

BIWI- I've said multiple times why I thought it bestt when I voted, so I'm not typing that again.

To your second question, I've said, I wouldn't mind a second ref. and I think, increasingly that would be best, but only with an investigation into the first result.

Justheretogiveaviewfrommyworld · 12/03/2019 22:28

You are addressing more to me Pumper. Are you tthis unhinged in RL?

MamaLovesMango · 12/03/2019 22:28

Again, I implore MN to add a facepalm emoji.

Justheretogiveaviewfrommyworld · 12/03/2019 22:29

Don't feel sorry for me Laurie, help me campaign for change.

Songsofexperience · 12/03/2019 22:29

So when everyone is poorer and everyone is more miserable, will you feel better for it? Will the problems be addressed?

Pumperthepumper · 12/03/2019 22:31

You are addressing more to me Pumper. Are you tthis unhinged in RL?

Is your reading comprehension this poor in real life? Stop addressing posts to me - that means, stop putting my name in posts, stop speaking to me. There, you should get it now.

TheElementsSong · 12/03/2019 22:32

So when everyone is poorer and everyone is more miserable

I guess that's a way of achieving less inequality? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Justheretogiveaviewfrommyworld · 12/03/2019 22:32

I think it might drive people to ask for change, yes. I don't gett why people are asking me questtions, all of which I have answered and then asking them again in a different way tbh.

wherearemychickens · 12/03/2019 22:32

Having said I'm angry, I was just thinking that if I had a child with Type 1 diabetes, right now I would be absolutely incandescent with rage at the uncertainty around supplies of insulin. It's criminal to make people worry about this; let alone if supplies are actually affected.
