To ask you how older mothers REALLY think about younger mothers

I am much younger than most of the mothers of my children’s friends and look even younger than I am. I wonder how other mums think of that.

I think people assume attitudes that aren’t there. I would not think an 18 year old would want to be friends with me. Not because I judge her or look down in her but because I think she’d think I was old and boring and out of touch.
My dh worries sometimes that younger dads at school will think he’s dcs grandad.
Says more about us and our insecurities than anyone else.

Envious - I so wish I had children sooner. I have only one, partly due to age but we had IVF. I wonder if we’d started earlier if maybe we would not have needed it.
