Seeing as this worry comes up so many times on MN and in wider life, I feel obliged to post this and remind everyone that MMR has not link to autism whatsoever, as yet another HUGE study has found.

Thanks.

As for the afore mentioned ‘latest’ study. Here are a few facts

  1. The study was primarily funded by Novo Nordisk which is a huge pharmaceutical company and although they dont sell vaccines, they are the only manufacturer of CTAB (a vaccine ingredient). There are also various other financial conflicts of interest within the contributors. Novo Nordisk are also fighting 487 lawsuits, 376 personal injury cases and 31 civil rights cases
  1. The study was vaccinated (with MMR) vs vaccinated (without MMR) and not unvaccinated.
  1. The study protocol, stastical code and data set are listed as ‘unavailable’ making the study impossible to reproduce
  1. No individual medical charts were reviewed.
  1. Autistic diagnosed children were excluded unless they had two separate diagnoses and no explanation was given for this

So given all of the above, the heavily industry criticised Mawson study (vaccinated vs unvaccinated) is actually looking far more reliable
www.rescuepost.com/files/mawson-et-al-2017-vax-unvax-jnl-translational-science.pdf

Ewitsahooman · 10/03/2019 14:49

Would that be the Mawson study funded by two notorious anti-vaxx groups, Generation Rescue and the CMSRI?

The same Mawson study that was "peer reviewed" by a chiropractor and wouldn't be accepted by any of the standard journals (wonder why...) so he had to use paid-for publishing?

The same study that was so biased, flawed and limited (and also did not look at medical records) that it had to be retracted for editing not once but twice because it failed to meet the requirements needed to actually be called a study?

Yeah.

Totally more reliable than the recent study and packed full of True Factz™ Hmm

Cathmidston · 10/03/2019 15:02

Well atm it still stands as the main study comparing vaccinated vs unvaccinated... because that last effort certainly didn’t

Ewitsahooman · 10/03/2019 15:06

It stands as a testament to how not to conduct a study.

bruffin · 10/03/2019 15:15

The KIGGs vaccinated vs unvaccinated

Littlebelina · 10/03/2019 15:38

Ctab is used to manufacture bacterial vaccines and gene therapy vaccines, the MMR is neither of these. Ctab is not in the mmr. The study clearly states they were funded by Novo (and the Dutch ministry of health) so I fail to see the conflict here. Do you actually bother to examine the bullshit you copy and paste from woo website?

Cathmidston · 10/03/2019 15:47

Yes I know that it’s an ingredient in bacterial vaccines... but the fact is it’s still a vaccine ingredient and this was a vaccine related study ..that was the point. They manufacture ingredients for other vaccines made by the same manufacturer as the MMR

Gilead · 10/03/2019 16:06

Just a note, the lawsuits against Novo Nordisk are to do with diabetes, so fuck all to do with vaccinations.

Gilead · 10/03/2019 16:10

Oh, and they manufacture CTAB in Denmark, there are plenty of other places manufacturing it all over the world.

Littlebelina · 10/03/2019 16:11

Ok then (and this is a genuine question as I may well have missed it whilst looking through the ppi leaflets as sleep deprived)- which one of Merck's vaccines use ctab?

Cathmidston · 10/03/2019 16:13

This is on their website ‘Novo Nordisk Pharmatech is the only quaternary ammonium compound (Quat) manufacturer offering CTAB in cGMP manufactured pharmaceutical grade, in full compliance with ICH Q’

Littlebelina · 10/03/2019 16:14

Or what other vaccine ingredients do they exclusively manufacture that Merck use? (Since the fact they were the exclusive manufacturer of ctab was relevant for some reason)

Gilead · 10/03/2019 16:24

Little, they're used for polysaccharide vaccines of which there are three, pneumococcal disease, meningococcal disease and Salmonella Typhi.

HIVpos · 10/03/2019 16:25

Cath, yet again the stuff you are coming out with about AIDS is incorrect, skewed and incredibly misinformed. You really haven’t a clue what a LTNP is.

Your posts are more confusing than anything else. As I said - you have no debate.

HIVpos · 10/03/2019 18:51

“As for your assertion that I must not really believe what I’m saying as I wouldn’t actually ‘tell you to stop using your medication’ ... sorry but I’m damned if I do and damned if I don’t on that one. I merely stated what I would do.”

That’s interesting - why do you think you would be damned if you do? Christine Maggiore, on whose writings you rely, believed in what she was saying to the extent that she urged HIV+ women to stop taking their medication. Shame her own denialism killed both her and her 3 year old daughter.

So I say again, you obviously do not 100% believe in what you are spouting. If one of your children was diagnosed with HIV, I wonder what you would do......🤔.

Cathmidston · 10/03/2019 19:09

Because I’m not the kind of person who tells anyone what to do...let alone some random on the internet... I can only say what I would do... If I told you or anyone else, on here, to stop taking any medication they were on regardless of how passionately I believed I was right, I’d quite rightly be crucified.
My children on the other hand would no way be taking a drug such as AZT or any other toxic antiviral drugs for that matter.

Anyway... this is an interesting perspective from a mum of a child with Leukemia thinkingmomsrevolution.com/dont-vaccinate-protect-cancer-kid/?fbclid=IwAR0GZd39ezqHstE_g51nJhnUAWzG-CIMhirfHhM3-e1ZHyBDrkIsuegTO10

AwakeAfterMidnight · 10/03/2019 20:13

@Cathmidston My husband has leukaemia, so what you are basically saying is we should ignore the advice of his heamatologist and expose a potentially neutropenic to bacterial and viral infections, rather than avoid if possible, because there really is no risk.

If you were diagnosed with CML would you take the TKI, or just drink more water and wait to die?

Cathmidston · 10/03/2019 20:22

Sorry... where did I say that? I shared a link from a mother whose daughter has Leukemia and she didn’t say that either Confused

But no, I wouldn’t do TKI, but I wouldn’t wait to die either

AwakeAfterMidnight · 10/03/2019 20:25

You wouldn’t take the TKI, but wouldn’t want to die either. You do realise that before TKIs that death was from CML was inevitable. What would you do?

smackbangwhollop · 10/03/2019 20:28

@cariadlet @TheHodgeoftheHedge Not sure why we need reminding but there was an interesting report from the NHS on the Measles Virus.

www.nhs.uk/news/cancer/measles-virus-used-to-treat-bone-marrow-cancer/?fbclid=IwAR2XmRDxxv2E-3_dz5zmDAnFcxW82IYQTyXnOo6gLA2IqkHYZ-Boakd1Y5Y

I personally prefer single vaccines as I do not see the 'benefit' of giving lots of vaccines all at the same time. That's my choice and we all have one.

Cathmidston · 10/03/2019 20:37

I said I wouldn’t WAIT to die... like I said to the other poster, if you want to know what I would do then pm me... I don’t relish the thought of offering myself up as another punchbag to everyone else on this thread for my differing opinion on cancer treatments as well as vaccines, AIDS 🙈
But I’m happy to give my opinion on it if you genuinely want it

Cathmidston · 10/03/2019 20:37

@smackbangwhallop... yes we all have a choice and that’s exactky how it should stay x

AwakeAfterMidnight · 10/03/2019 20:47

@Cathmidston - I have no desire to engage in a off-line conversation with you. If you are so sure that your treatment plan is better than the one that has saved thousands of people with CML then say it here.

HIVpos · 10/03/2019 20:54

Cath, so you’re happy to write all this stuff about HIV being a harmless virus etc. yet you cannot say categorically that I shouldn’t take treatment to keep it supressed. Why on earth do you think you would get crucified if you believe it so strongly? Ditto with other treatments like chemo, vaccinations etc. When anyone presses you on individual situations, makes no difference how random we are if you honestly think these things are so bad for us.

You continue to post links from sources that have no credibility - your latest effort scienceblogs.com/insolence/2012/05/07/the-not-so-thinking-moms-un-revolutions

You still have no debate.

Oh - and luckily, if your children ever contracted HIV, they would most probably be old enough to make their own informed decisions with the help of their clinic.
