If you could only ever have one which would it be? I’m going for baby carrots. Disclaimer I’m not vegan or vegetarian, I just love veg

Butternut squash! Soups, risottos, wellingtons, curries, I love it. Special mention to broccoli, cabbage and sweet potato though.... I'd miss those guys.

Broccoli is ok but it kind of sits there doing nothing, a bit bland, just awaiting its end

PS tomatoes are a fruit

Asparagus.

Tomatoes are the sad bastards at the party, trying to fit in but never really knowing what they are doing wrong.
Yes, they are a fruit, yet they are not sweet and suitable for adding to a highly alcoholic cocktail
That’s why you always find them in the kitchen

Asparagus Is either raw or mushy, impossible to cook in between

Cabbage. Sprouts. Spring greens.

Also lovely fresh runner beans. I have a slicer thing I shove them through and they come out like spaghetti. Lightly steamed, loads of butter, black pepper. I can demolish a whole plateful.

Well that’s a lesson to us all to stand up and be proud of who(or what) we are?

That way I could have chips, chocolate, chilli, cabbage, cauliflower, crisps, champ, chicken, cereal, cheese, crackers, cake, calamari, cream, canned goods...

YEs to broccoli, I’m also a big fan of mushrooms and spinach.

I cook aubergine a lot. I have never done the salt thing and it has always been fine.

I’m pretty sure, almost sure, maybe sure, that cheese will give you an std. I hate cheese, ruins so many possible recipes and meals out. Any cheese free restaurants?

I adore broccoli! Lightly steamed al dente with a squirt of lemon juice and flaked almonds. Salt and pepper. Sometimes a dash of Tabasco. YUM!

@soberfabulousthe the broccoli was happy, then you made it all about the lemon and the nuts. It’s sitting there no all acidic wishing it never met you 😂
