It is a great sign of viable pregnancy!! And should rightly be a comfort to you when you are feeling ick and nauseous all day! Be prepared for the sudden (usually harmless) smells that make you retch (for me it was petrol when filling my car and my bosses sardine sandwiches he ate every day! )
I have 3DC and had 3 miscarriages. Nauseous and sick all day for DC1 until mid second trimester. Used to carry plastic bags to pull over & be sick in (if in car) , or a folded up one in my workbag if I was nowhere near a loo, apples in my bag and toothbrush/toothpaste.
Was sick at least 3 times a day for first 5 months but not hypmesis TGFT. He was my bonniest robust of all my babies 😁 And a boy. I was nauseous but less regularly sick for DC2 and DC3 (both DDs). It usually does pass towards end of 2nd trimester unless you are unlucky.
Food I lived on for first 5 months was cold tinned rice pudding, milk, ginger biscuits, plain chicken, salads, cold lasagne and coleslaw straight from the pot which I ate tons of 🤐 🤢.
Also smoked salmon , which for later pgs the advice was maybe only a little of that so I stuck to 3xweek ( I swear that salmon made my children super bright! )
Good luck in your Pg !! Try to keep going and don't be embarrassed about the non-morning all day sickness! I had to let my boss know earlier than 12 weeks each time as I was MrsPukealot!
