I am 6w 3 days pregnant and already completely fed up with feeling sick all the time. ALL THE TIME. It's 11pm here and I can't sleep because of the nausea, after a day in which I spent a total of maybe 2 hours NOT feeling sick.

AIBU to think that calling it 'Morning sickness' is a complete con?

I am feeling so so fed up and down at the minute! I'm 14 weeks and constantly feel sick. Usually sick In the morning (bile or frothy foamy stuff!) It either goes off or lingers then come the afternoon I feel horrendous! All I want to do is lay in bed and be alone! Oh and the headaches have started too. They just wipe me out also! I do home care so out during different times of the day. I've had to ask for my tea time hours to be taken off as I physically can not manage them but I'm now starting to feel ppl think I'm being dramatic as I'm past the 12 week stage now bla bla bla. The dr prescribed me cyclizine as my urine was showing dehydration. They have helped or do help some days.

I hear ya. On my 3rd type of medication for it now. Thankfully I think this one is working. Do speak to your GP if you feel you need to. It got to where I couldn't function and then suggestions of ginger were giving me the rage.

I was pregnant at 18 with my first.

From the moment egg met sperm to 12 hours after birthing my son, I vomited copiously. Some days I couldn't even stand up. I had to crawl. I'd wake up vomiting in the middle of the night.

I was hospitalised multiple times. My mum took to carrying a plastic bag in her handbag anytime she took me anywhere. So, so horrible.

Fuck morning sickness. All the women in my family "Oh. I never vomited/felt nauseous, blah blah" My sister had twins 7 years later. Not sick once.

Wanted to throat punch them all.
