Holly Willougbys boobs on Dancing On Ice Tonight.

There is this women on Twitter going on about how it’s not ok for “family viewing” before the watershed?

How the hell is a bit of cleavage offensive to children?

Am I being dim here? I can’t see anything offensive about it at all?

They're still not in sack clothes though Also so it's still about tittilating the men and upholding the duty of women to wear a fitted dress

TwitterQueen1 · 26/02/2019 17:59

I believe Holly is fully complicit in the booby dresses. She's said publicly and on numerous occasions that's she's proud of her nickname - she's not known as Holly Willoughbooby for nothing.... That doesn't make it OK though, just sadder.

Alsohuman · 26/02/2019 17:59

It’s complete bollocks, isn’t it?

Alsohuman · 26/02/2019 18:00

Why is it sad to wear what you want? So much for female empowerment.

derxa · 26/02/2019 18:02

Holly wears different types of clothes depending on what show she appears on. I watch all the ITV rubbish.
This Morning: safe mumsy style
IACGMOOH: biker boots, shorts fashionable tops
Dancing on Ice: glamorous evening wear
Celebrity Juice noooo idea I hate Keith Lemon
I don't think many 'husbands' watch DOI
HW is a very savvy business woman.

So. Are we agreed that men and women are equally objectified on the main stream media?

Alsohuman · 26/02/2019 18:21

I thought you maintained that men weren’t.

BertrandRussell · 26/02/2019 18:29

“I thought you maintained that men weren’t.“
No- I’ve completely changed my mind. Your reference to a 10 year old Diet Coke ad and a 20 year old historical drama convinced me that I was wrong.

Alsohuman · 26/02/2019 18:32

🤣

It reminded me of this...

My husband is in the Navy and he watches it with me if he’s home - mainly because he has no choice Grin

The point that should be addressed is why should the women, Holly and Jane, wear wearing such clothes in an ice rink where it's ridiculously cold, while the men are covered up and hence are a lot warmer than the women.

I think this every time I watch the show. It's irritating.

LovelyIssues · 28/02/2019 12:00

to be fair they're always hanging out Hmm
