Holly Willougbys boobs on Dancing On Ice Tonight.

There is this women on Twitter going on about how it’s not ok for “family viewing” before the watershed?

How the hell is a bit of cleavage offensive to children?

Am I being dim here? I can’t see anything offensive about it at all?

Sorry but what happened to women supporting each other? I was under the impression that you should be allowed to wear whatever you want without having to worry what people would think, without being told you are sending a bad message to young girls? What 'dodgy' message is a dress sending?

TwitterQueen1 · 25/02/2019 18:26

Remind me why we got rid of Page 3 girls in The Sun?

@Teagoanngoanngoann I don't think you mean me do you? I said I wasn't offended..

PooleySpooley · 25/02/2019 18:27

Page 3 girls are completely different.

OP posts:
RhymingRabbit · 25/02/2019 18:36

In what way are they different @PooleySpooley

Either breasts are just breasts and do no harm or they are not?

I have to say thought that I find people being offended by this dress and not by the fact that in most cases the women on DoI are dressed in tiny wee dresses whilst the men are usually completely covered EVERY WEEK! Suddenly we are worried about the effect a dress will have on our children when the whole show places women as objects to be looked at.

RhymingRabbit · 25/02/2019 18:37

though....not thought damn autocorrect

PooleySpooley · 25/02/2019 18:40

@RhymingRabbit

Page 3 breasts were naked.

You would find me in the summer wearing a vest top offensive would you? With my E cup breasts?

Ridiculous.

That dress shows no more than most women attending a black tie event. All this pearl clutching is ridiculous.

BertrandRussell · 25/02/2019 18:42

“Sorry but what happened to women supporting each other? I was under the impression that you should be allowed to wear whatever you want ”

And you think women in the media are “allowed to wear whatever they want?” Yeah, right.

YoloTF · 25/02/2019 18:43

What's wrong with saggy boobs? Pretty sure them sagging is perfectly normal after a few children Confused

It's hard to believe this a parenting forum sometimes.

Alsohuman · 25/02/2019 18:44

They do seem to be @Bertrand, given that they don’t all dress identically.

Seriously, people on here think that this is acceptable for a family show? Give me strength!

Alsohuman · 25/02/2019 18:51

Yup.

Mummyoflittledragon · 25/02/2019 18:54

Some people are bonkers and twitter has a big share of them. I don’t watch the show but that dress is not offensive!

stormborn91 · 25/02/2019 18:55

What exactly is it that makes it unacceptable for a family show? She was wearing a dress what is the problem with that?

manicmij · 25/02/2019 19:00

Saggy boobs. Most females would rather not advertise the fact never mind on tv. If Holly doesn't care it's up to her, only would rather she didn't look as if she was going out to some media late evening event when the show is supposed to be family entertainment.

RhymingRabbit · 25/02/2019 19:01

@PooleySpooley why are you putting words in my mouth?

I don't find breasts in the least bit offensive. I do find the constant sexualisation of women and girls offensive though. I do find it offensive that women are still judged more on how they look than on their achievements. I saw an article today from The Telegraph about the man who got Olivia Coleman in shape! Even in her hour of glory there is someone more interested in her fucking body.

PooleySpooley · 25/02/2019 19:01

She doesn’t have saggy boobs?! Shock

villageshop · 25/02/2019 19:03

It's almost impossible to find a dress that fits let alone flatters when you have big breasts like HW (and me). If you cover up you look like you're wearing a sack / tent or you could go for covered up and fitted and risk looking like a cartoon sex siren. It really is difficult to dress elegantly but in this dress I think she has achieved it and looks fabulous.

Zofloramummy · 25/02/2019 19:05

I think it’s a badly fitting dress. Her boobs look fine!
My dd (aged 7) would probably comment to me that the lady should cover them up because she is a mini Mary Whitehouse! But honestly I think Holly needs a better costume dept that dress does nothing for her lovely figure.

Alsohuman · 25/02/2019 19:05

Olivia Colman’s fucking body is one of the tools of her trade. I read that piece too, it was about how she lost the 3st she had to gain for The Favourite.

dutysuite · 25/02/2019 19:12

I don't think it is a very flattering look and agree the instagram photo is very photoshopped. I went off Holly after she said she never sunbathes or uses fake tan but seems to always be tanned. Hmm Confused

Tinkobell · 25/02/2019 19:17

Can't say Hollys look impresses me; especially given the context of the show. The person I always feel pulls of a sexy look without having to display Acres of flesh is lovely Tess Daley....I love her dresses and her beauty is that she does leave more to the imagination unlike Holly.

PooleySpooley · 25/02/2019 19:19

Tess Daley is awful IMO, such a boring dresser.

Emma Willis, she pulls it off and is stunning.

I've had a sneak preview of Holly's outfit for this week.
