I am glad that this monster has been named publicly. The idea that he would have been protected after murdering Alesha MacPhail made me sick. His picture is all over the news now.

I know wax which is why am annoyed at myself for reopening a thread and giving him more attention!

But he won't have proper justice will he? He'll get to keep challenging things as it's 'not fair' to him and he'll keep dragging this family through this.

Don't worry titiana, I'd harbour a guess he's not a regular here and I'm sure Google will have plenty of hits before this one, if he has access.

I'm not a legal expert, but I'm pretty sure he can't keep reappealing on the same basis so he would need to come up with different reasons and have them given credence or he would need new evidence in order to challenge the verdict....I think.

I bloody hope he doesn't wax!

Sorry to reopen this but apparently he's getting to appeal as his lawyer is supporting the claim that his sentence is too harsh as he 'was only a child' when he did it. I don't know anything about legal things so does a lawyer HAVE to take on a case like this?
