I like gravy in a cup anf about 5 slices of heavily buttered bread I sneak it in the kitchen whilst I'm doing dinner Blush

Letloose · 19/02/2019 18:07

@claira Blush I don’t do it all the time I just get random urges!

Clairaloulou · 19/02/2019 18:09

@Letloose don't worry, after some of the weird shit that's been on here you for in perfectly well. Although you're the first non-food entry Wink

I used to eat raw bacon rinds too! Maybe it was 'normal' on the 1960's?? My mum would give it to me,

aspoonfulofyourownmedicine · 19/02/2019 18:09

DH just reminded me of my 'habit' with eggs and tomatoes. Fried/poached eggs & a tin of tomatoes scrambled together until pink and soaked up with white bread & lurpak.................... vile, disgusting and delicious. Even my dad is disgusted by me doing that and nowt usually fazes him

Clairaloulou · 19/02/2019 18:11

I think those of you that ate raw bacon rinds probably have tapeworms the length of the country!

Oh I've also got to admit I used to eat raw bacon and sausage when i was a child Confused. Not sure if it was a 'thing' as a few people on here have mentioned it??? I only used to eat thin strips of raw bacon when my mam was making bacon butties but i used to suck all of the sausage meat straight out of the skin in one go Blush.

DanglyTassles · 19/02/2019 18:15

In the 50% of my life that I'm not trying to diet, if I ever have a ready meal I'll sometimes pour in some double cream in and a slab of butter plus salt and pepper then cook.

Hence why I have to diet my way out of the consequences the other 50% of my life! Blush

BeckyButterworth · 19/02/2019 18:15

This one from DD's boyfriend:

Small bags of doritos (whatever flavour you fancy, you can crush before you open if that is your style). Turn the bag sideways and cut across top of that side, so it forms a kinda bowl iyswim. Add in dollop sour cream, avocado, grated cheese, salsa, lettuce/tomato (if you feel a little healthy), and if you want to do some cooking you can add shredded chicken or fried ground beef.

Yummy dirty delight and can be held in one hand, think it was a food truck idea originally. No dishes tooGrin

Maisymoo22 · 19/02/2019 18:17

Hot buttered toast dipped in a cup of hot oxo. Delish.
Oxo sprinkled on toast or oxo sarnies o my👅

Surfingtheweb · 19/02/2019 18:18

Entire pack of strawberry laces Grin

MerryMarigold · 19/02/2019 18:21

My dog loves chewing sponges. Usually the ones I've washed her bum with.

snoogans · 19/02/2019 18:23

Chicken flavoured super noodles in a sandwich (has to be cheap white bread) you have to eat it quickly though otherwise the bread starts to dissolve because of the super noodle sauce.

Natstar98 · 19/02/2019 18:24

When making bacon sarnies I always grill it so I can dip an extra slice of buttery bread in the fat. Mmmmmm.
I've also just remembered that as a kid I loved to make a sandwich out of the inside of a jacket potato mixed with the sauce from those boil in the bag fish. A proper carb fest!!

PeterPiperPickedWrong · 19/02/2019 18:28

Omg! So many disgusting combos, the mind boggles how some of these get put together in the first place but..

Also raw sausage and bacon rashers. Shock

Sponges. Washing up sponges don’t swallow just chew Confused

To think I thought DH putting a smoked mackerel fillet in a toasted tea cake was odd!

DoveGreylove · 19/02/2019 18:29

Supernoodles with baked beans smothered in tomato ketchup.
I always put crisps in my sandwich. It has to be done. And only salt and vinegar flavour.
Pringles with a mango chutney dip - amazing.

Last night I had fish fingers with potato smiles and baked beans and it was just wonderful. Tonight i'm back to normal - salmon with broccoli and brown rice (boring).

LouH1981 · 19/02/2019 18:29

Sometimes, if I’m treated and get to do the big shop on my own (!) I buy a two pack of the cream doughnuts and devour them in my car in the car park 😋

Loyaultemelie · 19/02/2019 18:31

Hot potato bread topped with butter, salt and shed loads of nutritional yeast

Cheesy bloomer toasted with butter, halloumi, mushrooms, yet more nutritional yeast, smother in grated cheese and melt.

Mini cheddars, thickly butter add square of Wensleydale with cranberry and a chocolate button, top with another buttered mini cheddar

Tayto cheese and onion in a doorstop sandwich with loads of butter and veganaise

Hot quorn nuggets in a thickly buttered white bap with a slice of cheese and garlic mayo

Jaxhog · 19/02/2019 18:32

I had a KFC Zinger Tower meal in my car last Friday lunchtime

My secret treat (along with a whole packet of Jaffa cakes). But, clearly, I'm not trying hard enough.

Kirstyhewlett2018 · 19/02/2019 18:32

Yorkshire puddings with fish fingers and usually a whole jar of mint sauce Grin

NellWilson · 19/02/2019 18:35

Costco sheet cake - the sort you get at work when somebody's leaving. It can't be classed as actual food as it's made only from chemicals. The most delicious thing ever.

HavelockVetinari · 19/02/2019 18:36

When I was pregnant I'd eat jam and sweet pickled gherkin sandwiches. Blush

Ravenesque · 19/02/2019 18:43

@genius1308 I used to do that with sausages too! The very idea of doing it now makes me boak.
