....are? I have been watching Pure. It's got me thinking. For any not aware, its pure O, as in ocd, but without necessarily enacting compulsions (like repeatedly washing hands, opening/closing doors, routinely associated with OCD)
So, people have all sorts of fantasies they wouldn't want to act out IRL.
Also, think things that they wouldn't actually do, or want to see, like in Pure, seeing intrusive images of people naked, or erotically engaged.

Would IBU to ask yours?

@anita green
The obsession is trying to be certain you don't believe it, if you really wanted to do that you'd just go do it. Try not to solve the doubt your imagination comes up with, when you stop trying to solve the fear thoughts you can see them more clearly as the anxiety reaction subsides, without the anxiety your less driven to obsess.

Reading other people's I have so many of these but obsessively worry about doing them by accident - jumping from a height, keys down the drain, or tripping over a low wall on a corner.

One I've had since childhood is 'what if everyone else is dead'? I get really spooked if I'm on a street and it feels like Sunday morning with no one else around.

I hate driving over a pedestrian crossing, whenever I approach one I’m very cautious, making sure there’s nobody near or waiting to cross and once I’m passed it I have to look in my rear mirror to make sure I didn’t miss anyone! I’ve no idea why I’m like this, I’ve never nearly ran anyone over or anything remotely awful.
