Not sure if it's weird but I just have a little collection of words I love (mainly for their meaning and not the sound).

I loved limerence when I first heard it.

Does anyone have any other words that they really like the meaning of? I'm actually looking for one-word tattoo inspiration (don't judge for the tattoo!), so I'm reading, googling, being more conscious of words in films etc but I thought I'd ask you users as well!

I like anti-Macassar

Not much call for it these days but I like the sound and the weirdness of it as a thing.

rightreckoner re anti Macassar my mind was blown a few years ago when I found out it is to do with Macassar (Indonesia) oil - men’s hair oil. Anti m’s used to protect upholstery from it. Love it !! Never even thought what it meant.

daisychain liminal on my top three. Now yet another interesting linked concept. Love it. Didn’t know that usage of sublime.

Onomatopoeia is just the most beautiful word to say. I love the way rolls out the mouth and the rhythm of it. Sometimes I just sit and say it for the pure pleasure.

I also seriously considered naming my daughter Mezzanine. It's just such a lovely word.
