Celery.

The tiniest slice ruins any meal. AIBU?

Do you have another suggestion?

Love coriander, we grow our own for salads in summer.
Said salads also have goats cheese and beetroot!

drumandthebass · 09/02/2019 22:15

Dill or tarragon

TatianaLarina · 09/02/2019 22:15

Roast parsnips are food of the gods. Love celery too. And coriander. And mushrooms. And fennel. And seafood.

Vinegar - ruins everything and I have to stop eating whatever it is in.
Anchovies
Cheddar, stinky cheese, blue cheese
Most egg ideas apart from quail’s eggs hard boiled only.

TatianaLarina · 09/02/2019 22:15

Dill or tarragon

They make me so happy.

Clevs · 09/02/2019 22:17

Peas 🤢🤮

Marlena1 · 09/02/2019 22:18

Cinammon - I may be on my ownHmm

Longdistance · 09/02/2019 22:19

Has anyone mentioned caraway seeds. They are wank! 🤢

MamaDane · 09/02/2019 22:19

Agree with those who said coriander and mushrooms. 🤮 Especially coriander. It tastes like fucking soap

Oldraver · 09/02/2019 22:20

Jalapenos..they add nothing but heat which overpowers whatever they are on

pinkpanther84 · 09/02/2019 22:20

Cucumber
Courgette
Parsley
Tarragon

DSHathawayGivesMeFannyGallops · 09/02/2019 22:20

Fucking parsley and even more fucking oregano. Especially when they aren't listed on a menu and I have to send back my meal. Oh, and celery. I ruined a soup the other day by adding celery tastic vegetable stock Angry.

Any bread that isn't white bread- I get heartburn from anything else and go acid. Spinach- turns me acid and it's in everything.
Cucumber- especially in water. Why do they do that? It's VILE!! Also a food that turns me horrifically acid and taints anything in that comes into contact with it.
Anything sheep related - smelly and dank tasting and taints anything it comes near.
Sweet corn- vile anyway but is used to wreck otherwise nice pasta soup and salad.
Overdoing lettuce/some lettuce varieties full stop.
Brocoli, cauliflower and swede- stinky veg with weird textures.
Baked beans- won't touch a plate with them on; look, taste and smell disgusting.
Eggs- so many brunch dishes are egg based. I hate being asked out for brunch.

Weaverspin · 09/02/2019 22:24

Beetroot - just tastes of dirt and stains everything pink.
Raw onions - horrific indigestion.
Dried onion/pepper seasoning - fouls anything it's in.

Love coriander, though Smile

rallytog1 · 09/02/2019 22:24

Mayonnaise. Ruiner of sandwiches everywhere.

jua890 · 09/02/2019 22:35

raisins and sultanas in savoury dishes - just no.

jua890 · 09/02/2019 22:35

Oh and peas. Peas are rank! (sorry peas).

Antonin · 09/02/2019 22:43

Spinach. Every vegetarian dish seems to have masses of the slimy stuff. One of the reasons why I couldn’t possibly be a vegetarian, even for a short time

mystar · 09/02/2019 22:50

scrambled egg
Bananas

Both vile

mywigwamneedsnewflaps · 09/02/2019 22:50

Raw onion - vile taste that lingers
Salt - although many cooks are getting better at not over salting

Croprotationinthe14thcentury · 09/02/2019 22:50

Cucumber in sandwiches, makes them all soggy bleurgh, I like Cucumber in anything else though!
Parsnips or the devils vegetable as I like to call them.
Fennel, star anise anything aniseed or liquorice flavoured in general.
Those water chestnuts in chinese beef In black bean sauce, ruins the whole dish.
Alcohol in desserts.

mywigwamneedsnewflaps · 09/02/2019 22:51

Oh and I forgot
Mayonnaise- slimy horrid stuff

manicinsomniac · 09/02/2019 22:54

Ketchup
Mayonnaise
Mustard
Onions

manicinsomniac · 09/02/2019 22:55

Oh, and salad dressing

NewNameForHelpPlease · 09/02/2019 22:57

Cucumber 🥒 🤢 How is it possible for something to be almost completely tasteless and yet STILL absolutely disgusting?

ILoveDaveGrohl · 09/02/2019 22:59

I'm so surprised at all the Coriander haters Shock I ADORE the stuff Grin

Mine is Mustard. And Watermelon

userschmoozer · 09/02/2019 23:01
