All the ones that aranged for brexit without any clear plan can go to hell as far as I'm concerned. That's why we are in such a mess now!

@surferjet arrogant? 😂 There is no plan. Never was.

Why don't Leavers mind that there was no plan? It's bizarre.

Thank goodness someone is speaking plainly and honestly.

Cobblersandhogwash · 07/02/2019 10:01

Leave voters = suckers.

They're going to be so angry when they find out or even admit it.

lljkk · 07/02/2019 10:02

...But the Sun wasn't aggressive & arrogant when they published this.

Bojo was not bitter & arrogant when he said these words (oh no...)

MargoLovebutter · 07/02/2019 10:06

He made a fair point. The UK signed up for leaving without ever knowing what it meant. Collective madness. Angry

lljkk · 07/02/2019 10:07

...so many insulting gems from Bojo. Spoilt for choice. But hey, The French are not sensitive flowers! They can take it!

Hello
Europe
Look
Leaving....

lljkk · 07/02/2019 10:15

More prisoner rhetoric, this time from Jeremy Hunt. And then there's Farage telling all his EU Parliamentary jobs that they were useless wastes of space without proper jobs. EU is "The enemy" (Philip Hammond), "The EU is a protectionist racket" (Daniel Kawczynski)

Can't beat a bit of bellicose verbosity from the Mogg. Not sure anyone can beat Moggs for exuding arrogance, tbh.

I note that none of the Leave supporters who frequent this thread (and other threads) have yet to point us to any of the plans that were made - before, during or after the Leave campaign - by the Brexiters on how to Brexit, let alone done safely Hmm

So their outrage is misplaced.

mummmy2017 · 07/02/2019 10:34

The is no agreed deal that is starting when we leave YET
How the Dickens do you think anyone can set out 100% what will happen when even you don't know...
Sometimes I just shake my head at your demands as remain ..

PerverseConverse · 07/02/2019 10:39

They haven't even a plan for 1% nevermind 100%. It's the great unknown aka biggest political clusterfuck of our time.

prettybird · 07/02/2019 10:39

Nobody is talking about a deal. Confused

They are asking where was the plan - even the sketch of a plan.

Saying it was going to be "the easiest deal in history" is Not. A. Plan.

It was - and remains - a delusion wishful thinking.

CleaningKettles · 07/02/2019 10:40

Considering his specific words - ie aimed at those who promoted Brexit without a sketch of a plan for getting out safely - yes, he's bang on the money.

Agree 100%

nauticant · 07/02/2019 10:41

There are the two versions I usually hear prettybird:

  1. provide the EU with a list of what we want and what we don't want and when they do as they're told we've won; or
  2. tell the EU to fuck off and "just leave".
TheSultanofPingu · 07/02/2019 10:45

Errm mummy, time is running out. I really think we should have a deal worked out by now. What I fear is that we end up with no deal, which will be a disaster.

Pumperthepumper · 07/02/2019 10:46

What did he say that was incorrect though? Apart from hell not being real but I think we can take that as a turn of phrase.

I’m glad it was said but I wish it was Corbyn who said this. It’s gutting not to have a serious opposition.

TheElementsSong · 07/02/2019 10:47

The Leavers still can’t actually point to a plan. With mere weeks to go. It’s just farcical.

mummmy2017 · 07/02/2019 10:48

No deal is what we should have gone with from day one.
And we could have know what to expect.
Then anything else we sorted would have been good.
Lol at us on this thread none of us agree, and we are not speaking for millions.

nauticant · 07/02/2019 10:55

The idea of having "no deal" amazes me. In law, when one legal framework is replaced by another, one of the most important parts of the new law is the transitional provisions. That's the part that enables business to carry on as usual for continuing business. Without transitional provisions continuing business falls into uncertainty and then chaos.

The idea of just dropping a legal-business framework and just starting off doing everything differently is so wrong-headed it's almost not worth trying to explain.

ADarkandStormyKnight · 07/02/2019 10:56

No deal is what we should have gone with from day one

Only if that was what the option was on the ballot paper. The campaign suggested otherwise, which is one reason the Remain campain looked weak.

As it was the option was 'stay as we are' or 'do something else, yet to be decided'

SusanWalker · 07/02/2019 10:57

No deal is what we should have gone with from day one

So we should have set the bar so low that it was six feet under at the start, so that anything that happened after that would seem, by comparison, quite good?

We were promised a deal, sunlit uplands, that brexit would make us better off, not going for the worst possible scenario and seeing any slight amelioration as a cause to fucking celebrate.

LittleSpace · 07/02/2019 10:58

The plan has always been to make it up as they go along. What a shambles.

prettybird · 07/02/2019 11:01

I'm still waiting for someone, anyone to present the plan as to how the UK was going to leave safely Confused

"Leave immediately with No Deal" doesn't cut it. Sad

Unless they are genuinely ignorant of the issues in NI Angry. Let alone the ongoing "ordinary" security issues.Hmm

MonicaBellucci · 07/02/2019 11:04

If Leavers don't like what they see in the mirror then maybe they need to change their faces.
