I've always been skinny / slim but after 2 kids I've suddenly realised I'm not any more following a run in with the scales at the doctors surgery Confused.

I think I have a rare form of body dismorphia where I think I'm skinnier than I am Grin. No idea what size etc I am now. I'm 5ft 8 and 11st 4lb. I have previously always been around the 9.5 stone mark.

Finding it difficult to lose the baby weight after #2 as there is NO TIME! Any tips?

5 ft 6 inches and 9 stone - in my late 40's. Tend to wear an 8 or a 10 on the bottom and a 10 or even a 12 on the top.

EdgyMcNervous · 22/01/2019 13:46

Size 6-8, 50kgs (which I think is around 7st 8). I look unhealthily thin now, bony and 'orrible.

Have always been pretty skinny, more so since having DC oddly but have unintentionally lost weight in the past 6 months and I think I'd look a lot better if I could put on a stone. Invested in protein powder stuff at the health food store today plus lots of macadamia nuts.

ArchiesMumm · 22/01/2019 13:48

6 months pregnant and 10 st, a size 10/12 apart from the bump. I'm big so have to purchase baggy or maternity. I'm usually 9st.5 and a size 8! Hope it drops off like it did with first DC!!

Lobsterquadrille2 · 22/01/2019 13:54

I'm 49, 5 foot 8 and about eight and a half stone. My mother calls me chunky .,,,

Momo18 · 22/01/2019 13:54

5ft 5, I'm currently about 13st and a size 16. Two years ago I was 10st and a size 10-12. I could blame it on having my DS but in reality I've been a greedy pig! I've lost 7lb in the past two weeks, eating healthy Nd doing 30 minutes of exercise three times a week. I'm hoping to build the exercise uptown 60 minute bursts :)

reetgood · 22/01/2019 13:55

We’re almost the same size op, I’m 5’8 and 11stone 7lb. I wear a 12 or 14 dress size depending on shop. I have been smaller but I can’t be arsed maintaining too low. About 11 stone works for me. The last time I was 9.5 stone I was a) 19 b) that was when my friends started saying maybe I should stop losing weight now.

Namechange8471 · 22/01/2019 13:56

I'll take one for the fatties!

5"2 17 stone Blush

Geekster1963 · 22/01/2019 13:57

4ft 11, 17 stones and a size 8-10.

IAmWonderWoman · 22/01/2019 13:58

5ft 2, weight 8st 2. I’m a size 10.

evilharpy · 22/01/2019 13:59

5' 6", 10st 12lbs, size 10 in most shops and 12 in some, particularly in jeans. Have a 29" waist I think. I do a lot of exercise so am quite muscular, and am pear shaped and carry all my excess weight around my hips and thighs but have scrawny collarbones.

10st is a happy weight for me and puts me in an 8-10. Last time I was that weight I had a 26" waist.

NerrSnerr · 22/01/2019 14:00

5ft1, 10st 8 and a size 12-14. I'm definitely overweight. I am happiest at 9 stone when I'm a size 10.

OfficeSlave · 22/01/2019 14:01

Yeah, i don't think these threads do have any great variation though because hardly anyone (and often on these threads absolutely no one) over about 12 - 13 stone (unless tall, then they do) joins in to tell their weight.

There are a fuck tonne of other less desirably ratio-weighted folk saying nowt cos saying 'ive lived happily at 15stone 6 for 15 years and then since baby im only 15 stone 9.' wouldnt be accepted as a steath boast like some others. Cake

I knowsome people are here to genuinely state with no agenda, but really it can reek mostly of 'oh golly im nearly a size TEN guyzzz, how ruddy AWFUL'

Iownabigvase · 22/01/2019 14:02

I really did a number on myself over Christmas.. I think I weigh about 12.5 stone and I'm 5.6". Size 14.
11.5-11 stone is ideal for me. I'd love to be that again. I'm A 10-12 at that weight 🤷‍♀️

SinisterBumFacedCat · 22/01/2019 14:03

10 stone 6
Size 10-12 top 16 jeans

I am a freakish pear 🍐

thatmustbenigelwiththebrie · 22/01/2019 14:04

I am five foot four and about 8 stone. I say "about" because I don't own any scales but that's what I weighed a few years ago when I was last weighed and my clothes still fit the same.

SallyWD · 22/01/2019 14:05

I'm between 5 ft 7 and 5 ft 8 weigh about 10 stone 3lbs. I'm usually a 10 on top and 12 on bottom. Because I'm pear shaped I sometimes have to buy a size 14 jeans etc. People say I'm slim but I don't carry weight well. I know women who are much heavier than me and look better! I'd like to get to just under 10 stone.

Conseulabananahammock · 22/01/2019 14:07

Im size 8 5ft 6 8stone6. And desperately trying to gain weight 😫

stickyparrots · 22/01/2019 14:07

Grin I think I'm the same as you op.

I think I'm just really dense or "big boned" Blush I used to work with consultants and they all didn't believe me when we were talking about what we weigh. I had to stand on the scale to prove it!! They all said that they thought I'd got it wrong because I seem to look slimmer than the number. Stealth boast. Unsurprisingly I'm not a fan of bmi because of this!

I'm 10 st 10 now after recently having dc2 but not putting any pressure on to loose the last stone!

lovely36 · 22/01/2019 14:09

I'm massively under weight and it makes me very self conscious. Sad after having my son, I find it hard to make time for me to eat. I make his meals and while he eats I do laundry, clean up etc. I'm tiny I'm 5'2 and about 7 stone. I literally look like a walking skeleton. I've always been very skinny but now it's getting out of hand. Even when I remember to eat I don't seem to put weight on. And it makes me very uncomfortable. Every piece of clothing hangs off me. In order for me to gain weight I need to eat about 5 meals a day and protein like chicken avocado etc. However after my son and me staying at home with him i can no longer afford to be buying that much food for one day.

IlluminatiParty · 22/01/2019 14:09

10st 6 and want to be half a stone lighter really. I'm 5 foot 7 and my legs are pretty skinny but I've a thick midsection!

moonbells · 22/01/2019 14:09

These threads always fascinate me because I'm a complete mismatch with other folk's sizes even when I'm the same apparent size.

Evilharpy said above: 5' 6", 10st 12lbs, size 10 in most shops and 12 in some, particularly in jeans. Have a 29" waist I think.

I'm 5'6 and a half, 9st 7 and a 12 with 30" waist.

How can I be taller, over a stone lighter and BIGGER? Grin

Floopyandtired · 22/01/2019 14:09

On the other end of the scale, I am 5’7, 14st6 and a size 16 Smile

ToftheB · 22/01/2019 14:10

I’m 5’11” and just under 10 stone - which is at the low end of healthy weight (I usually weigh 10.5 stone, but can’t keep weight on when I’m breastfeeding) - but I’m still a size 12 because I’ve got broad shoulders, ribs and hips etc.

IlluminatiParty · 22/01/2019 14:11

Lovely36 have you tried the bodybuilding protein drinks? After an accident I went down to 7 stone and would have those to boost calories. I appreciate they aren't particularly cheap but might be more effective "pound for pound"

tinysnickersaremyfavourite · 22/01/2019 14:11

5"9, weight was 78.3 kg this morning.
I am currently in size 14 or 16 jeans (depending on vanity sizing of shop) and size 14 or an M in tops. I am bottom heavy, my boobs are small but I have wide shoulders so I have always had to size up in coats or jackets with no stretch.

I am losing at present though. I am doing the Michael Moseley fast800 thing and I'm 3kg down after 2 weeks and feeling fairly motivated at present. Hoping to be around 70kg by the summer.
