...and how much exercise you got?

Very interested to hear what amount and type of food people's daily diet consists of,and whether it's obviously a lot more or less than I eat, or more nutritious or not.

I had a day without exercise so far, total consumption two slices of home-bake bread, a cup large mug of tea, and 2 x that of coffee.

Planning to eat a jacket pot for dinner now, with beans and a little grated cheese. Oh, and an orange for breakfast.

I am a few stone overweight, from Christmas excesses, but steadily losing it. (Not mentally, I mean weight!) Grin

I small tub Greek yogurt, one whole wheat bagel, about an ounce of cheese, two mugs of tea.

No exercise envisaged apart from normal stair climbing in the morning and again to ight when I get home (I live in a second floor apartment).

It is very cold here and there are about ten inches of snow on the ground so I won't be able to get out to walk. Working 7am to 7pm so won't feel like hitting the gym.

I might scrub the bathtub tonight come to think of it. That should count.

mathanxiety · 01/02/2019 21:18

Dinner tonight will be some leftover beef stew with gnocchi.

Enta · 01/02/2019 21:28

Cooked dinner

Small bowl rice pudding, tbsp strawberry jam

Leftover curry and rice (plenty of veg)

Half bag of ww fruit gums. Surprisingly ok.

Breakfast - 2 poached eggs and a bagel
Lunch - pea and mint croquettes, potatoes, beans
Dinner - cottage pie ready meal (and the rest of the baked beans)
Pudding - carrot cake

Plus lots of tea and a hot chocolate. Light exercise this afternoon (took DD to a fitness trail thing in the park) and not enough vegetables in my meals!!

NobodyKnowsTiddlyPom · 03/02/2019 23:14

Breakfast: just a cup of tea this morning
Lunch: mashed avocado with lime juice, spring onion, sesame oil, chopped coriander, served on top of sesame ryvitas, with a poached egg and some thick smoked bacon
Snack: hot chocolate and a small piece of home-made toffee cake (at the top of the hill)
Dinner: Roast pork with roast potatoes, broccoli, carrots, stuffing and gravy
Snack: a bag of mint aerobubbles Blush

For exercise today we went for a very cold (there was snow at the top), very windy walk up a local hill. Probably 3 miles in total.
I've hit my 10,000 steps target today.

Usual exercise routine:
Monday - 4-5 mile run with my club
Tuesday - cardio/strength class
Weds - combat class, yoga class
Thurs - cardio/strength class, spinning class
Fri - rest
Sat - rest
Sun - usually a long run (8-11 miles) as I'm doing quite a few half marathons in the next couple of months. If I wasn't, I wouldn't do these sunday runs. F

I'm having underactive thyroid issues at the moment (and possibly peri-menopause) and so I put on about a stone this year, which I'm really noticing when I run, so I want to get rid. I've managed about half a stone since xmas but the rest just isn't budging. At least I've got muscles under my wobbly bits I suppose! Hmm

ew1990 · 03/02/2019 23:19

I've ate mostly junk today.

×2 toast for breakfast.
A twix.
4 packets of spaceraiders.
A packet off blackjack and fruit salad sweets.
Left over corned beef hash for lunch.
A banana.
Turkey stuffing and potatoes with some veg.
Some mini eggs and a few fridge raiders
Just had some super noodles before bed.

Not exercise as such but work 12 hours on a busy ward and don't really sit down all day

@ew1990

I've got a tin of corned beef in my cupboard that I bought recently, specifically to introduce my children to the joys of corned beef hash!

Will have to make sure I put it on my list of this week's meals!

Made roast beef and yorkshire pudding dinner for the family, with roast potatoes and four choices of veg for picky people. They loved it, but the younger people in the family are much more active than me. I had a banana for breakfast and nothing else all day other than coffee with sweeteners to mitigate for the extra food at 7pm family dinner.

Gradiva · 04/02/2019 02:51

Food: Nothing.
Liquids: 3-4 black coffees, 6 pints of water with a few pinches of pink Himalayan salt.
Exercise: none, just taking it easy (as far as that is possible with two young children) and light housework.
Today was day two of a 3-day (or more) water fast. As you can see it does mess up my sleeping... brain struggling to switch off, keep waking and looking on here to tire me out, but no hunger. This is my second water fast, last one in December was 78 hours but got dizzy and started to worry that I was getting obsessed about how long I might to go on for.
I’m doing this to reset my eating habits after Christmas (sugar sugar sugar) and for the mental and physical benefits of fasting. Thought I’d contribute seeing as food is on my mind a bit at the moment!

bigstrong · 04/02/2019 03:20

Not enough. Not eaten much for s few weeks.

Today: 1/3 of a sausage roll. 5 mouthfuls oh sausage casserole and crispy potatoes.
Yesterday: 1/2 slice toast. 6 jalapeños cheese bites.
Friday: 3 bites of pizza and a bottle of wine.

I am a fatty though so my body will sustain itself.

Just not hungry. Stress/heartbreak related.

Fabaunt · 04/02/2019 03:20

Grilled chicken burger on brioche buns, ketchup and mustard. Onion and cheese slice.

Two slices of toast

Almost 2 liters of water

Very little exercise today

Bluesheep8 · 04/02/2019 06:38

Bubba1234 · 04/02/2019 15:34

Today wasn’t great
Chicken fillet roll and jambon and crisps from a deli
Can of lemon and I don’t even like minerals
Crisps
Later it will be a peppered steak with salad
If I’m hungry after that a bit of veg soup
