AIBU to ask why on earth is the Duke of Edinburgh driving at the age of 97.

OP posts:
Bluelady · 23/01/2019 20:15

Once again, where have I defended him?

Charlie97 · 23/01/2019 20:37

Yes, some light relief from the royal defence league.

GrinGrin love it!

Howdoesthisbloodythingwork · 23/01/2019 20:42

I’m not deaf.

snaggletastic · 23/01/2019 21:02

Smotheroffive · 23/01/2019 22:05

Oh god, not still doing this bashing of anyone who speaks sense are we? How is this OK you lot?

You are so wrong, the assumptions, houndin and harassing posters hat don't agree with your view speculation not a discussion.

Charlie97 · 23/01/2019 22:07

That's your opinion not everyone's! It's called debate? But it's ok for people who believe the same you do to bash others?

Get a grip!

Wordthe · 23/01/2019 22:08

I think we all know that there is a difference between what's appropriate when sitting on a jury and what's appropriate when chatting on an internet forum

Charlie97 · 23/01/2019 22:09

@Wordthe not according to @Bluelady we don't!

Smotheroffive · 23/01/2019 22:10

You don't have to defend yourself against these baseless allegations Bluelady, I don't know what their deal is but, really the thread title needs to be changed to devotees of royal bashing and I'm guessing anyo e who's disagrees must be admirers of the royals and royalists because there are two pole opposites aren't there, nothing exists in the middle.

Charlie97 · 23/01/2019 22:14

@Smotheroffive another thread title change..... I can't keep up!

Charlie97 · 23/01/2019 22:15

@Smotheroffive I'm not sure you're please @Bluelady because she's saying she's not defend HRH, but you're saying she's a royal devotee ...... so agreeing that the people challenging her are correct?

Smotheroffive · 23/01/2019 22:17

Oh whats that you say Charlie97 more sarcasm?...

very echoey in here....

Charlie97 · 23/01/2019 22:18

@Smotheroffive indeed it is @Smotheroffive, indeed it is!

What car was he driving?

Smotheroffive · 23/01/2019 22:43

Seriously now, stop sending me emails, and leave me out of your discussions

That's a simple straightforward request, it doesn't require an answer, or contradicting, just stop.

Justaboy · 24/01/2019 12:47

Oooh ! Fight! Lets have a civil war re enactment then?.

Who wants to be king Charles and who be Ollie Cromwell bags I be
Tho. Fairfax please:)

alreadytaken · 24/01/2019 14:04

what happened to innocent until proven guilty? Two cars in this accident, an accident on a road where the police wanted the sped limit reduced and speed cameras installed. That will finally happen now. The road has blind corners, a lot of bends and there have been 5 deaths in 6 years.

But apparently its Ok to jump to assumptions here.

Bluelady · 24/01/2019 14:35

@alreadytaken, that will get you nowhere here. You'll be accused of being a Royal fan girl or defending him any time now.

Howdoesthisbloodythingwork · 24/01/2019 15:48

I want a biscuit.

TaMereAPoilDevantPrisu · 24/01/2019 20:39

You've been pretty forward in accusing the woman with the broken wrist of lying bluelady. Is she also innocent until proven guilty, or just him?

Bluelady · 24/01/2019 22:22

She did lie. She said it was overcast. Every single other witness said the low sun dazzled them. Next?

Parker231 · 24/01/2019 22:25

It’s irrelevant whether it was overcast or low sun, there was an accident and someone was injured. It won’t go to court - the RF will settle out of court.

Bluelady · 24/01/2019 22:50

The relevance is that the passenger lied about it on national TV. I was responding to the post immediately before mine.

Parker231 · 24/01/2019 23:42

We don’t know that she lied. We weren’t in the cars at that time. The police and the Courts, if necessary will decide the rights and wrongs although I feel sorry for any one with injuries from a car accident you didn’t cause. I broke my wrist about 10 years ago and so many day to day activities were difficult and painful.

marymarkle · 24/01/2019 23:57

Any incident, people have different recollections. Lots of research to show this. To say that someone lied because they have a different recollection is very unfair.

Bluelady · 25/01/2019 00:25

She didn't have a different recollection. She lied. Her body language quite clearly showed she was lying.
