So we live in a cul de sac and facing the road is our driveway and side garden. Front door is on the other side. For a few weeks I’ve been noticing the same car driving up blocking the dropped kerb for our drive and a lady getting out and having a fag sitting on our garden wall.
That’s fine, I haven’t needed to go out when she’s been there. Her habit isn’t affecting me.
This week I was picking up the dogs mess and noticed that there’s tons of fag butts in my garden. She’s obviously just been slinging them over the fence.
Today I waited till she arrived and I went out to her to ask her to take her rubbish with her and not throw them in my garden. She told me to get fucked and she will do what she likes.
I didn’t really have any comeback for that so scuttled back inside.
Being both a coward and a nosy bitch I jotted down her car reg. Lo and behold the DVLA website says it’s not mot’d.
WIBU to tip off whoever enforces those things next time I spot her? She’s pretty regular time wise.

How rude of this woman . Can you park your car where she parks hers for a while just as a deterrent.
I’m thinking if you report this woman’s car so soon after the altercation you had with her she may put 2 and 2 together and cause you a whole load s**t . I understand it can be annoying but I think it’s best to bide your time as you never know what she might do.

When we bought our previous house we found a garden full of fag butts. Coincidently the next door couple had already moved in. They were sitting out in the garden one day, couldn’t see them over the big hedge but could hear them, and I commented loudly to dh about all the fag butts all over our terrace and had the builders been out here. Never had any more. Cheeky dirty twats.

Hi, not sure if it's already been mentioned but if the MoT isn't valid then the insurance so t be either, which is really serious offence and I'm sure the police would follow it up. I think you can also do an anon call to 101 with the information. Good luck, she son d's like a real charmer, karma will catch up with her 👍😄

Report the MOT and the fishing soak stuff sounds ideal. As long as the wall is on your property you can do what you like.

You need to call 101 (non emergency police number) and give them the number plate, make and colour of the car and location and that should be enough for the police to get her...give her a taste of her own medicine!

If us Brits all dealt with CFs like this there would be fewer CFs!!

I did a Stop Smoking course years ago, and one of the things we had to use was a "Butt Jar" filled with butts and water and sealed with a tight lid. If we wanted a smoke we had to have a deep breathe from it just so we could realise how vile the smell was.

That water smelt far, far worse than any cigarette ever could.
