To think takeaway pizza at a 4 year old’s party is an odd choice?

Just that really. I’m not especially neurotic about what my kids eat. I’m happy for them to have the odd happy meal every couple of months or the occasional chocolate biscuit. But a pile of dominoes pizza at a party in a hall just seems a little much.?

I’m fully prepared to accept it if I’m being unreasonable because I can’t quite put my finger on why I wasn’t keen on this. Maybe it’s the salt. Anyway daughter is now asking for the same thing at her party next week and I’m really not sure.

"I maybe unpopular here but I just make my own pizza, less salt and I can put on own toppings, yeah I have to cook in oven but it doesn't take lone for my ds birthday I done cucmber sticks carrots. Peppers. Homemade healthy muffins swapped alot of sugar for natural yoghurt, fruit. A few crisps and birthday cake. We Alps done sandwich and for adults a pasta and cold drink"

Eh your choice
I simply cbf making my own for a party, less mess.
Natural yogurt is no substitute for actual sugar, it pains my sugary heart to hear people would try trick me like that
I must be the only one who who says if the adults hungry, there is food there but i aint making a special dish for them. Takeaway pizza also solves that issue as plenty always left overlol

Why would making your own pizza make you unpopular?

But making your own pizza is never going to be an easy hassle free solution to party food provision.

I decided not so long ago, that home made pizza was more hassle than it's worth.

Yes it's nice, but it takes ages and it's messy and fiddly, so from now on, if I want pizza, I'll buy one from a shop, restaurant or takeaway and save cooking for things that are easier to do.

I'm not sure if home made pizza would have significantly less salt in anyway. Cheese has salt in and you need salt in bread dough for it to work.

And salt isn't the great health hazard that people seem to believe for most people. The science is sketchy, and it is likely to be other factors that raise blood pressure, rather than salt.
