To know it's all gone wrong night before 12 week scan?

I've had such a good gut feeling this entire pregnancy. Now my 12 week scan is tomorrow and I feel so numb because I just know the baby's dead. I know it's gone wrong. I can just sense it. All the threads I've read about mmc say that they just knew and that's exactly how I feel. The day before my scan. What a sick joke :( can these feelings ever be wrong? Sorry I know it doesn't belong here but posting for traffic I need answers or I'm going to do nothing other than cry all night. This can't be happening.

Lovely update op Flowers

Salmakia · 10/01/2019 11:58

What a lovely update. Congratulations and am really happy everything is ok.

SpannerH · 10/01/2019 11:59

PLEASE can we not speculate on the boy/girl thing as OP might not want to know!!

I do not agree with this. It's speculation i.e not guaranteed/A guess/not 100%. Whether she does or doesn't want to know will not be swayed by people saying I think it's a boy/girl. Plus most info out there states you can't really tell sex from a 12 week scan. Mine could but I was 13.5 and I didn't take it as gospel, just speculation.

So glad everything is ok OP Flowers

needsleepzzz · 10/01/2019 12:01

YAY fantastic news OP

shpoot · 10/01/2019 12:03

Well it's either a boy or a girl! 2/1 chance of getting it right. Never sure why people are pleased as punch when they get it right. Most sports favourites have much longer odds

MyTeaMouse · 10/01/2019 12:05

Woohoo! Congrats OP! She's gorgeous. Wink

Fab news OP, congratulations!

WonderTweek · 10/01/2019 12:29

Congratulations! This is great news. Smile I'm glad your instinct was wrong. I had a strange sense of doom in my first pregnancy and the pregnancy did unfortunately go wrong, but it really can go either way and a bad feeling may not mean anything. I'm so pleased for you OP. Flowers

Wallflowerfire · 10/01/2019 12:40

Wow! Scan pictures have really come on in the 15 years since I had one. Many, many congratulations OP, it's wonderful to see

spugzbunny · 10/01/2019 13:28

Came back to check and I'm so glad everything is ok! This had me in tears remembering how scared I was at my 12 week scan. My poor 10 month old doesn't know why mummy won't stop hugging her now!

chickhonhoneybabe · 10/01/2019 13:32

Glad the scan has reassured you OP, please do discuss your anxiety with your MW she can refer you to your local Perinatal mental health service.

Hazlenutpie · 10/01/2019 13:45

Of course the feelings can be wrong! I'd say they're almost always wrong!

BlueSuffragette · 10/01/2019 14:41

Smile relax and try to enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. Baby will be beautiful x
