To know it's all gone wrong night before 12 week scan?

I've had such a good gut feeling this entire pregnancy. Now my 12 week scan is tomorrow and I feel so numb because I just know the baby's dead. I know it's gone wrong. I can just sense it. All the threads I've read about mmc say that they just knew and that's exactly how I feel. The day before my scan. What a sick joke :( can these feelings ever be wrong? Sorry I know it doesn't belong here but posting for traffic I need answers or I'm going to do nothing other than cry all night. This can't be happening.

Mummyoflittledragon · 10/01/2019 10:54

Flowers. I hope all is well. You aren’t having any symptoms of anything going wrong so that’s a very good sign.

Mummyoflittledragon · 10/01/2019 10:56

Oops sorry I missed that this was a 4 page thread Blush. I’m really glad everything is fine!

Yeah!
Congrats and now you can relax.
I remember feeling the same.
Had a MC and got pregnant quite quickly.
Then it all seemed to be going wrong.
But she's 21 now!
Look after yourself.
Lovely scan pic.

shinysinkredemption · 10/01/2019 11:22

Just seen this and had to add congratulations! I feel quite teary seeing the scan!! You don't stop worrying once they're born unfortunately but the joy a baby brings makes it all more than worth it. If you are not usually so anxious then enjoy the rest of the pregnancy but if anxiety is something you struggle with then maybe talk to someone about it as sleep deprivation with a newborn can exacerbate things.

ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts · 10/01/2019 11:23

I'm so pleased for you congratulations

NowApparently · 10/01/2019 11:25

What is it about scans that make them able to trigger broodiness instantly? Your baby is going to be so gorgeous.

I had pre-natal anxiety all the way through my pregnancy with my daughter and spent the entire time convinced I was seconds away from disaster. I went into labour at 34 weeks and I was certain that she'd have complications, she ended up hanging on to 35 weeks and we were home 2 days later. Anxiety is the just the shittest.

IthinkIsawahairbrushbackthere · 10/01/2019 11:34

So happy to see the photo. Really happy you are wrong. I haven't been through the same things as you but I can understand the anxiety.

I hope that from now on everything gets easier and better.

MarkingMyPlace9 · 10/01/2019 11:34

Excellent news! Congrats! Hope this will put your mind at rest now

HermioneWaslib · 10/01/2019 11:35

I'm 19 weeks pregnant for the second time (well, third, will get to that in a second!) and both times I am regularly convinced that the baby has died. This time around I am more secure in the fact it is probably just a feeling, and just focus on getting through to the next milestone, while also knowing that what has happened has happened. It is SO HARD though when you are an anxious person!!

I had a pregnancy in the middle of these two that I lost at 7 weeks. That time I was completely relaxed and miscarried out of the blue on a sunny Friday lunchtime. It made me realise that my feelings are just feelings, they have nothing to do with whether the baby is ok or not!

TartedUpYard · 10/01/2019 11:38

Congratulations! That's fabulous news. I've had 3 miscarriages myself and they stole the joy of my successful pregnancies until my second scan. Hope you can relax and enjoy your pregnancy now x
