To want to stay with new partner if he only likes kissing ..

Would I be batshit? He only likes kissing. No sexual contact as such . More sensual that sexual. I am young, single with no history . The problem is that I’m crazy for him ? Does it get better or is this weird ?

I have only experienced horrid , abusive, addiction riddled men in my past .

Honestly this was my worry - that you have a poor template experience of relationships and so you're hanging on to this one because he's actually nice to you. That's a fantastic thing, don't get me wrong - it's a HUGE thing to move on from a pattern of abusers to somebody who is nice to you, but it's not actually enough, it's merely the basic standard of a healthy relationship. You need more than "he's a good guy" for something to work and be healthy.

I think you should (privately, to yourself, not to him) be thankful to him for the experience of showing you that decent men exist and are not "all married or gay". Now you've found this to be the case you are much less likely to settle for somebody who is abusive in the future. You know how a calm relationship feels, you have that benchmark now.

I'd also be quite wary of somebody talking about a long term future when you've only been together a few months and him heaping all of this thankfulness on you as it makes you feel beholden to him in a way. Don't stay with him just because you feel too bad to end it. He's done the right thing in being upfront because it means you don't need to waste each others' time, him doing the right thing doesn't mean that the relationship will automatically be successful though, and ending it doesn't mean that he has done something wrong. If you wait until one or both of you is unhappy to end it, that just wastes everybody's time and this is not an issue which is likely to resolve itself in time.
