Sexiest/coolest job for a partner ?

Inspired by another thread about worst jobs. What are the coolest/sexiest jobs?

Definitely a tree surgeon. They know all about ropes and knots

Barrister. The more eloquent the better, I used to love going to court for this reason when I was working

Chef all the way. I’m married to one. Something so attractive as a man deftly wielding knives and being all sweaty and manly but producing something so delicate and delicious.

The flip side is every chef I know is insane and has an alcohol/drug problem and the hours are shit for family life.

No way to investment bankers or hedge fund managers. Surgeons too. And corporate lawyers. And..politicians! They have relationships with themselves and their ego. Partners rate third after that. At best. Almost always someone on the side, or hanging around too.

One thing I find sexy is someone who has done lots of different things. I had a boyfriend once who was a chauffeur in Europe for major pop stars driving them between cities, and a dive instructor and a..lawyer and when I dated him he was about to qualify as a judge! (He was from a country in Europe where you train to be a judge after becoming a lawyer so he was early 30s).

What I find sexiest of all is people who have come from humble beginnings and done amazing things, very specifically without the bank of mum and dad or a trust fund.

My fiancé is a joiner, I love him in his work gear! Not really sure why!

So many attracted to the suit which is the biggest turn off for me.

Give me a musician any day.

If your vet has dirty fingernails go to a different one! They scrub their hands daily and wear gloves for the nasty stuff....

I love watching dh strolling up the fields with the dogs at his heels and baby lambs in his arms!

There's a reason why all of our children were born 9 months after lambing season not easy when their birthdays are in the same month though!

I'd be interested to know what men would say but we'd have to ban nurses and police officers in porny uniforms. And maids and sexy secretaries and au pairs. I'd like to think most of them wouldn't be at a loss after that but I'm cynical.

A rock star,or failing that,a fireman,or a blacksmith,although I know there's not many of them around nowadays.

Vet, Dr, anything outdoorsy, musician, and writer or artist (as long as they aren't too egotistical and airy--fairy).

Basically, money lol.

I'm going to add artist to my non-uniform/ non-suits bunch. Especially artist who wants to paint you in the buff.
Uniforms do naff all for me they all remind me of school. Suits are even worse and less likely to excite.

A lot of these jobs are well paid but not huge amounts and how do you know the guy is willing to share...
No wonder the attitudes of a lot men OLD now towards women

Pilot, architect or wild life photographer would do me.

Have known a couple of fireman over the years, neither remotely sexy.

As for chefs...my XH was one, I think about 90% of them are totally batshit (although I do know a couple who are really lovely).

Serious bf have been - construction manager/scout leader; outdoor pursuits instructor and geologist (DH; not the offshore oily kind).

Nobody has mentioned civil engineers and I’m not surprised. The ones I worked with were not sexy

My DS is studying CE. He is tall, thin, gorgeous hair , beautiful teeth and plays guitar . Give it five years I'l be MIL material !

I'm liking the farrier suggestions! Tradesmen do it for me. A pair of rigger boots, overalls a bit of skill and some proper grunt. Grrr!

The usual suspects here, doctor/lawyer/CEO etc, rich, intelligent and powerful does it for me!

French maid, especially if stocking tops are visible. Not sure that's a real job though.

As a nurse I’ve met and dated quite a few arrogant medics. Not for me. Brother is an architect- he is totally not sexy to anyone! 😆 DH is a n SEN teacher in a PRU - a gruelling job but he’s fab at it and charms the most difficult kids. So that job wins hands down.

Mine is an artist. I think that's pretty sexy.

Surgeons can be sexy in a big intellect, power sort of way, but I wouldn't want a relationship with one. Arrogant twats almost to a man. Amusing banter, but that's it.

I do have a soft spot for male nurses though
