Sexiest/coolest job for a partner ?

Inspired by another thread about worst jobs. What are the coolest/sexiest jobs?

Late boyfriend was a tree surgeon. I really loved watching him in full gear and ropes with a chainsaw... Even just watching him chop wood.

Also carpenter, blacksmith as above. I like things which are physical.

Bartender at a swanky cocktail bar... Seeing DH doing flair etc is really cool... Until you realise that he almost always has to work the days that everyone else is off, plus evening / night shifts!

I wonder what men would say about sexiest jobs for women if this thread was reversed?

dh is a farm worker. I do find the scruffy, capable look quite sexy.

The smell of cowshit and the intolerable working hours during harvest less so.

A physical job always. My oh is a carpenter and I love watching him make stuff

A friend has a girlfriend who’s an astronaut. I think she probably wins!

And another who’s wife is a pilot. And one who’s wife is an Astro physicist who looks after one of those super telescopes looking for alien life and stuff. That’s pretty cool.

Had a firefighter girlfriend too, she was super sexy cos she was so fit, plus she did the emergency rescue bit ( car crashes etc) so saved quite a few lives.

Anyone else wondering what the replies would be if men were doing this thread? Nurses Maybe? probably not bookkeeper like me

My BIL is a surgeon and he’s currently single - he’s also a grumpy git who works crazy hours. His specialism is hip replacements though - the less sexy end of surgery...

DH is an IT consultant which might not be sexy but is bloody useful, would recommend.

Also was at a restaurant in the mountains here the other day with a building site across the plaza and I swear there was a Diet Coke advert being played out in front of me...

DP is a musician. Definitely sexy moments when he's all sweaty on stage, but lugging gear around and the constant noise from rehearsing and practicing scales and vocal warmups and the same song played over and over and over and over and over again at home not so sexy.

Wouldn't swap him though.

I forgot about detectives, too. But I think that's only because I'm watching Line of Duty at the minute and finding the whole thing very exciting.

I met an American on Holiday many years ago who had Tom Cruises job on Top Gun!
He was utterly gorgeous and a really lovely person too. We were on a girls holiday and we were all chucking ourselves at him but he just wanted to show us photos of his wife and children . 25 years later I think I’m still a bit in love with him.

A while I ago I had the glamorous experience that is post-pregnancy-haemorrhoid anal skin tag surgery. The surgeon did a great job and I'm very grateful, but god was he full of himself. He strutted and swept around treating the other staff like minions and clearly wanted me to adore and swoon over him for rescuing me. I kept thinking "you're a bumhole surgeon, get over yourself"

Sexiest man I've ever met is an electrician - I love a practical man, especially in cargo trousers and a tool belt.

in reality, the AA patrol man and electrician we used recently have been attractive but more because of their personalities and manly shapes.
