Sexiest/coolest job for a partner ?

Inspired by another thread about worst jobs. What are the coolest/sexiest jobs?

Agree with others about firefighters, it’s the bravery and selflessness.

Also agree with someone upthread who said anyone who has got on without the bank of mum and dad being a factor, I find anyone who needs to be bankrolled deeply unsexy.

Another vote for pilot, carpenter (I just like the idea of them creating something amazing!), and medic (mainly surgeon/paramedics). Married to an architect, and while it is interesting, I'm not sure I'd describe it as "sexy"

Oh, but as well as being an artist, he is a very capable joiner and carpenter, and he built us an amazing shed and deck on the allotment entirely out of reclaimed wood . He can pretty much do anything.

CEO, Fire fighter, mechanic and surgeon.

Oh and Pilot, and university professor but not for subjects like women's studies.

I definitely think there's an expectation vs reality issue with sexy jobs. My DH was going to be a pilot then changed career at the last minute. V sexy, but in reality would have meant being away for long periods, not much control over his life, and the danger.

Same re firefighters, and doctors are often on awful shifts (and arrogant too!)

Give me a man in a suit from a 9-5 office job who's home at the weekends over anything else!

I have a bit of a thing for doctors (types quietly as in hospital right now ) but I know the reality would definitely not be plain sailing!

I like labourers. A man that works with his hands and comes in from work all dirty and worn out

DP is a plasterer. It's sexier for me in hindsight. In reality, having to pick pieces of dried plaster from his clothes- not so sexy.

I used to work for a woman who was married to an architect. I don't know about sexy but he was a very lovely guy.

A vet would be top of my list.
Or a joiner who could make beautiful things out of wood.

I'm a bit torn on the sexiness of DH's job in the forces but he does look fantastic in his uniform...
And his formal dress as an officer is even better!

@YearinYearout my husband has to wear a tool belt for his job. I must admit I find it swoonsome!😂

I was with a fireman for over 4 years....not all it was cracked up to be.

My husband is a racing driver, pretty cool job I think! I am a lawyer myself and I can’t say I have met many matching the descriptions given above 😂

My husband is an architect and hot as hell! Not pretentious at all (but I’m one too so could be biased)...

Estate agent (that was an aberration)

I dated all of the above and married one of them...

My DH is a very senior engineer. I find something attractive about a nice suit, sleeves rolled up and knowledge/power. I find it funny when he appears on Twitter- as his work often shares what he's up to.

Real passion and enthusiasm for the job. My bf goes to work with a smile on his face, that does it for me.

I think I win in our house. I'm a woman welder and my DH is a statistician.

My OH is a landscape gardener and runs his own business. There’s nothing sexier on the planet than watching him hard at work in the sunshine, topless, muscular and sweaty.. 10 years together and he still makes me drool! He’s my very own Diet Coke man. (He does wear all his clothes when he’s doing his customers gardens 😂)

Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor.
