I hate potato tops and cropped trousers!

These - ghastly items of clothing look terrible on just about everyone.

I have a pair of cropped linen trousers which are a summer staple. I love them. Pretty much past caring what other people think of my style choices though tbh...

Would never wear a cold shoulder top, they're ridiculous.

the beauty of this country is that you can buy classics in Hobbs or Reiss and Fun items in Primark or New Look. Not everything has to be a classic!

Well I can think of much nicer Fun items than potato tops and cropped trousers!

They show off my beautiful tattoos so I quite like them. Each to their own

I love cropped trousers, mainly because I am a short ass and these are full length on me 🤣

No strong opinion on cropped trousers. They look fine on some people I guess. Wouldn't on me.

Cold shoulder look is ok if done using layers. A strappy top with a slash neck or bardot over it, but somehow, to combine straps and sleeves into one garment just looks weird and contrived to me.

I like cropped trousers but not flappy ones - imo they have to be fitted to look decent.

Don't buy or wear them then. There's plenty of things I don't like but I just don't waste my money on them. I don't have any problem with someone else choosing them though.

My mother-in-law used to call cropped trousers (she wore an old pair for gardening) her 'sawn-offs'.

The potato top is the new peplum. Usually made out of nylon which doesn't biodegrade. Yes, we have choice but its all landfill. I hate fast fashion.

I am tall and spent my early teenage years with my trousers flapping around my ankles because I grew faster than my mum was willing to replace them. I can't imagine why I'd want to recreate that experience as an adult!

Also not a fan of cold shoulder tops...the clue is in the name. I live in a cold place and holes in the shoulders is not compatible with my layering system.

I'm with you on the cold shoulder thing. I think this is one of those that we'll look back on at and laugh at in a few years time. They look awful on most people.

I wear cropped trousers and I think I look fabulous in them.

I love potato tops - it's the closest I can get to sleeveless in hot weather due to massive bingo wings.

Trousers that are only just cropped can make you look like you're a child who's grown out of them. And what's the deal with partly tucking your top in?
