Woke at 12.30 when dh came to bed. Can’t get back off to sleep - had bust first day back at work and head too full!

I work nights, even though it's my night off I struggle to adjust from night - days.

My dad is coming to the end of his life, we found out late on last night that his kidneys have failed. My brain just won't switch off, I'm heartbroken.

Too much coffee, and new puppy!

Recent bereavement has meant sleep is a bit elusive at times.

Also awake with my additional needs 3 year old who has decided he's had enough sleep........
