To hate red trousers on men?

This seems to be a status marker meaning I am very posh, so it doesn't matter if I look like a total nob.

bikerun that did make me smile. Unfortunately not.

He wears a read hat with it and has a black kane he uses when he wears it. Think more 60 pimp.

Has on about finding red shoes to go with it now to.

Though I would never admit it to him, he doesn't look bad in it and he's personality he completely pulls it off

It's not a disagreement. It's that you are saying its a status marker and that you don't like it. You are jealous. It's clear.

How is that jealousy? Your comment makes no sense.
Men wear them as a status marker. They look horrible. Most men who wear these are otherwise very conservatively dressed. That is a disagreement.
And if your DP wears red trousers, trust me I am not jealous.

What's wrong with a smart pair of red trousers? Or any other colour for that matter?
I'd much rather see a man in red trousers than horrible saggy jogging bottoms (which like leggings should only be worn at home or the gym) or those awful camouflage trousers with loads of pockets!
And I'm not posh by any means (proud cockney!) I just think that there's nothing wrong with dressing with some style rather than looking like w slob.

I’m sure some men, somehow, can look stylish in FRTs, but there is definitely a Sloane angle to the faded deep red chino type ones.

I'm quite posh, so are my family. Lots of the men I know wear red trousers, in fact trousers of all colours and I don't think any of them could give less of a shit about what you think Grin

I mean you don't like the fact they act as a status marker (in your opinion) as a means of showing people they are wealthy. What's wrong with that? What's wrong with being wealthy and happening to choose red trousers? It doesnt affect you in anyway apart from the fact it riles you because you dont like the fact people have money and by wearing those red trousers remind you, you aren't as wealthy. It is jealousy. No, my husband doesn't wear red trousers, he wears tweed ;)

You seem to find alot of things funny. Seems immature to me. Much like someone who would start a thread about red trousers...

Whisky You are wrong. I don't have an issue with anyone having money. I do look down on someone who needs to have a status marker to show how well off they are.
