Haven’t seen one of these threads in a while and I like hearing what over people have been eating 👀🍴

I’ll go first! 😬
Breakfast:
Oats so simple mixed berries porridge made with milk
Lunch:
Chicken tikka butty bought from a sandwich shop!
Tea:
Homemade stir fry with black bean sauce and soy sauce
Snacks:
1 rice crispy marshmallow square bar
2 mini tangerines

1 banana
2 marks and Spencer’s biscuits
Liquid:
Cups of tea and coffee
1800ml of cordial
1 can of Rio tropical

Nothing until 4pm then 2 slices of toast with scrambled eggs, a Lindt teddy from the tree and a chocolate coin

45g granola, fat free yogurt, handful of frozen berries and honey

Tangerine

Chicken wrap with lettuce and light mayo, bag of French fries

Grapes

2 sausages, roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli and onion gravy.

One chocolate

Lots of ice cold squash

Ugh, I'm a pig.
No breakfast.
Lunch: smoked salmon and cream cheese baguette, made by DS who had a hankering for salmon
Snack: Christmas cake
Dinner: 2 lamb grills, cheese slices on the grills, chips
Supper: cheese and Digestive crackers
Drinks: loads of cups of tea, 2 bottles of water

Breakfast: 2 slices of wholemeal toast with reduced fat butter, coffee with milk

Lunch: homemade healthy coleslaw of red & white cabbages, carrot and apple in oil and vinegar; 2 ryvita with reduced fat pate and gherkins

Dinner: baked salmon with stir fried spring onions and bean sprouts in sesame and soy, steamed mangetout and baby corns and egg noodles

Snacks: Cups of tea and a banana

I'm feeling hungry but that is what I eat on a diet and written down in seems a lot. No wonder I'm overweight. I normally easily eat half as much again in snacks.

Breakfast: 2 satsumas and green juice
Lunch: tofu and veg stir fry with soy:chilli sauce
Dinner: halloumi wrap from Leon, ginger kombucha
Snacks: one slice soreen, one 4 finger kit kat
I went for a run to ‘earn’ the kit-kat

NB am v actively trying to lose weight. Usually eat WAY more and far more carb-heavy

B: croissant and flat white at my desk

L: Pret spicy chicken wrap and M&S fudge bar. Green tea.

S: two scrambled eggs on one piece of granary toast. Blueberry smoothie. Stem ginger ice cream

Snack in bed just now: piece of toast and honey, hot chocolate

I've got a cold and need to eat some fruit and veg this weekend.

Today (weight watchers)

No breakfast as overslept

Lunch was at harvester, grilled chicken wrap and a side of steamed vegetables

Dinner: 2 poached eggs on 2 slices seeded toast and some slices of ham

Snacks have been a small bag of pop chips, a small bag of skinny popcorn, a couple of skinny latte drinks, a nature valley ginger oat bar and an apple. May have something else small before bed- not sure.

Lots of water and some Diet Coke. Too many snacks today thanks to skipping breakfast but otherwise fine.

L: Tuna salad sandwich, cheese n onion crisps, orange and mango squash

Coffee and cake at kids soft play party

D: Homemade fried chicken, chips, coleslaw and corn on cob

B - 2 slices wholemeal toast + jam
4 coffees
L - bowl veggie soup plus melon
1 bottle water, 1 tea
1 packet Discos
D - Veggie lasagna
2 non alcoholic beer, only 60 Cals each.
30g mixed nuts

I am on a diet as I am 3 stone overweight. Seeing what other people eat On a daily basis I now see why I am overweight. Your normal days are my diet days.

Today I had:
B: banana and a small handful of blueberries
L: veggie stir fry a big portion homemade
D: homemade pizza on a whole meal wrap w homemade pizza sauce
S: 3 packets of crisps and a huge chunk of cake and 3 viscounts
About 6 cups of tea throughout the day I ate all the bad stuff at nighttime oh well..

Today I had -
Breakfast - black coffee and a smoothie (cherries, blueberries, blackberries, spinach, banana, ground flaxseed, frozen tofu cubes, milk)
Lunch - cheddar, crackers and pickled jalapeños and a glass of water
Dinner - sushi
Snacks - black coffee, 1.5 small glasses of red wine, 1 small chocolate

I’ve had a quorn southern fried pieces wrap with lots of salad and some tortilla chips.. and that’s it! My son woke me up this morning vomiting so I kind of was put off breakfast and lunch!

I had a terrible day for food.

Large cappuccino and piece of caramel shortbread about 10am
Chocolate eclair with fresh cream at lunchtime
Spaghetti carbonara for tea
Large piece of chocolate cake as pudding.

Not a morsel of healthy food has passed my lips.

Ugh, you're all so good. This is why I'm fat:

B: 2 cups black coffee with sugar

L: Lemon tart and decaff Americano from Costa

D: 2/3 pizza from m&s, crème egg, ripple, family sized bag of pretzels.

Loads of water and caffeine free diet coke.

Yesterday:
B: Shreddies w whole milk, 1 egg
L: beans on wholemeal toast
D: sausage and roasted root veg w peas
S: 1 finger of kitkat, handful of quality street

Then after DS had gone to bed it all went wrong ... I had several glasses of prosecco with cheese and crackers, and a couple of squares of dark mint chocolate 😔

Half a block of paneer baked in yoghurt and tandoori spice mix shoved in a flatbread with some mango chutney.

Lunch will probably be hard boiled eggs sliced on toast

Lunch: naice ham and wholegrain mustard roll with gravy at local pub
Snack: 10 after eights
Dinner: homemade lamb ragu, sourdough bread and ignored salad
Drinks: two coffees and around a bottle of red wine

It was a good day.

one that sounds a perfectly healthy and normal amount of food, I wouldn't worry that you're eating too much 😀

Toast, ryvita pate and coleslaw and banana, stir fry. That looks like a healthy day 😁😁 also snacking isn't necessarily bad - don't eat for the sake of it, but if you're hungry, eat. If I refuse to eat even if I'm hungry, I end up eating too much chocolate. It's fine to snack just make them healthier snacks 😀

Not an authority on portion control etc, but at the end of the day everyone had different appetites and metabolisms - as long as your diet is balanced (over the week) and you're not eating for the sake of it (me!) then eat til you're satisfied

Yesterday

Breakfast: 2 eggs fried in coconut oil, topped with kale, spinach and mozzarella. Coffee with a teaspooon of butter and splash of almond milk.

Lunch: 8oz rib-eye steak with butter-fried mushrooms, a large green salad.

Dinner: two chicken thighs topped with olive oil, grilled asparagus and a blue cheese/cream sauce.

Drinks: 2 glasses of red wine! Lots of water.

I do LCHF, have done for over two years and really like it. Wine is my carbs...
