Haven’t seen one of these threads in a while and I like hearing what over people have been eating 👀🍴

I’ll go first! 😬
Breakfast:
Oats so simple mixed berries porridge made with milk
Lunch:
Chicken tikka butty bought from a sandwich shop!
Tea:
Homemade stir fry with black bean sauce and soy sauce
Snacks:
1 rice crispy marshmallow square bar
2 mini tangerines

1 banana
2 marks and Spencer’s biscuits
Liquid:
Cups of tea and coffee
1800ml of cordial
1 can of Rio tropical

Breakfast: granola with dates, hazelnuts and yoghurt.

Lunch: slice of wholewheat toast, relish, half an avocado, poached egg. Cup of tea.

Dinner: chicken casserole with lots of veg.

Snacks: 6 pringles, nectarine and a pear.

1.5 liters of water

Breakfast - Greek yoghurt with banana, cashews & honey
Lunch - chorizo, salami & various cheeses left from cheese board with crackers
Dinner - chicken in breadcrumbs, boiled egg, baguette & cucumber

Snacks - tangerine & a dairy milk

This is the best thread! Getting so many yummy ideas for meals.

Breakfast- 2 eggs and lots of filter coffee with oat milk.
Lunch- more coffee. (Wasnt hungry but now I'm STARVING)
Dinner- flat bread, veggie meatballs, tzatziki, roasted tomatoes, aubergines and peppers with a side of sweet potato wedges and salad leaves. Making up for lunch!

B - 2 hard boiled eggs, some dates and a coffee
L - leek and potato soup with a roll and butter
D - will be a Tesco finest dine in meal and a glass of either gin or wine (meal is chicken in breadcrumbs, potato dauphinois and chocolate cheesecake)

Snacks - cup of tea, cappuccino, donut and lots of water. Quite a sugary day!

No breakfast
2 pitta pockets with hummus, red pepper and cucumber, 1 apple and 1 satsuma for lunch
Half a block of dark chocolate
4 green teas
1 gin and tonic ( it's Friday 🤷‍♀️ )

Not sure we we're eating later. Fancy a Chinese or if not it'll probably be pasta with butter and chilli flakes.

D: Tagliatelle putanesca
Snacks: 1/2 Twix, Greek Yogurt with raspberries and blueberries.
Many teas and coffees. 2 litres water

B- Bowl of Cheerios. Coffee

L- asparagus soup, bread roll. Banana

D- Is going to be chicken marinaded in Cajun spice, roasted cubes of sweet potato, red onion and pepper, corn cobs and coleslaw.

I am going to have 2 glasses of pink fizz tonight with dh as it’s friday!

Lots of coffee, sparkling water and diet cola had thoughout the day

B: small bowl of Shreddies, toasted raisin bread with honey, tea X2
S: 2 chocolate biscuits
L: jacket potato with tuna mayonnaise and sweetcorn, broccoli. Natural yoghurt with tinned peaches & honey
S: olives
D: beef and black bean chilli, homemade wedges, salad, guacamole

Now: cup of decaffeinated tea and 2 small Lindt chocolates

I've also drank 2 glasses of squash, 2 glasses of plain water and a lemonade.

Breakfast - plain muesli, Greek yoghurt and berries
Snack. - salted popcorn
Snack - apple
Lunch - lentil salad with turkey, spinach and sun dried tomatoes
Snack - lots of salted pistachios... naughty
Snack - banana
Dinner - chicken stroganoff with yoghurt instead of cream, with mushroom, spinach and courgette and brown rice.

I’ve quite sugar (except fruit and switched to brown rice, pasta and bread) for January, and I’m already thinking that I’ll just carry on with it and only have sugar on special occasions.

Usually I would’ve had biscuits, Nutella, stuff like that as well.

How can you say you don’t know how some of the people on this thread eat so much and you can’t imagine it l, and why would you eat when not hungry, and then go on to say you used to be obese and eat for any reason?

I think your answer is that a lot of people are emotional / boredom eaters (myself included) and are stuck in a rut.

I’m not actually overweight but would like to lose a stone, as that’s what I used to weigh, and I know my diet needs to improve.

I decided to quit sugar (only 4 days in) for January and have actually found it ok so far. I’ve also switched to always have wholewheat pasta, rice and bread, massively reduced my carbs and replaced with extra green veg.

I think for me the breakthrough was actually quitting sugar completely (I do still have 1 or 2 fruit a day and obviously there is some sugar in bread and veg) but I found that just ‘trying to cut down’ didn’t work and made me always have ‘just a little more’

I’ve also told everyone I know what I’m doing which should help me with willpower.

Café... I guess I wasn't clear, I was obese and failed like many to lose weight because yes I ate for reasons that were nothing to do with being hungry.
When I stopped I realised that for me personally I don't need much food to 1. Feel full and 2. Maintain a healthy weight.

So I now look with horror at the amount of food people appear to eat as now it would make me feel sick and so uncomfortable.

So I was being honest.. For me I know what my body needs to be healthy and functioning and I don't eat more than that.
I don't understand why that has upset you. But if I have I am sorry.
And good luck with your diet/lifestyle changes.

Lunch was cheese salad sandwich, bag of quavers and a banana
Tea was veg omelette with homemade wedges and mixed veg
