I'm low-carbing but think I overdid the fat today considering I haven't exercised -

Breakfast; cheese omelette in butter.

Lunch; chicken thighs and salad.

Snack; antipasti. I shared some with the gerbil and it liked it a lot! (roasted red pepper)

Dinner; belly pork and lettuce.

Lots of black coffee.

not enough water.

My food today wasn't very well planned - and I need to drink more water!

KirstyAllsoppsFatterTwin · 03/01/2019 20:31

Madein1995 · 03/01/2019 21:25

Goodness some of these menus are very low on food :0

Not pretending that I'm by any means the healthiest person or my portion sizes are brilliant, but everyone I know, even fit and slim people, eat more than one meal a day regularly. Surely having such a low intake isn't good for you? In terms of your health or even your attitudes towards eating and food. It is normal to have time to eat 3 meals a day - no one is 'too busy' to find time to eat a small meal regularly, unless they choose to do so.

Anyway. Today has been

2 small slices toast with butter

Ham sandwich, tangerine, bag of french fries

Grilled chicken, pesto pasta and big salad

0% yogurt, frozen berries (defrosted) and spoonful of honey for dessert

theredjellybean · 03/01/2019 21:38

@madein1995

I only eat when I am hungry.. Why would I eat if I am not hungry?
Interestingly I am always gobsmacked by how much people eat on these threads and seriously could not imagine eating that amount of food.

Up until 9 yrs ago I was obese, ate for every reason you can think off, except being actually properly hungry. I tried every diet.. And failed or yo yoed.
When I woke up to the fact I was fat because I ate too many calories and used food for many reasons but not as fuel for more body... I was able to drop 4.5 stone very easily and have not gained a pound since.
Some days I eat more, some less, I eat any food I like, but only when I am properly hungry and I eat enough to stop being hungry. Anymore and I am sick.
I am fit healthy and run 10k easily four times a week.
I think this is the best way to have a healthy attitude to food and my health.
I now manage my emotions in other ways, not by shovelling food I don't need in.
