To ask for your favourite MN threads this year?

As we approach the end of the year, what has been your MN highlights? The threads that have made you laugh, cry, or that you remember for some other reason.

I remember a post about being unhappy paying for a meal in a hotel because a mix up with a starter. Another post about PIL asking for money for broken wine glass.

The parking thread where a couple went to work and would come home and there was always next door neighbour's carers car in their driveway and a looney man called.... I can't remember what.... it was a scream! Best parking thread ever

I'm looking forward to reading some of the ones mentioned on here that I somehow missed at the time.

I’m looking forward to catching up on the snapped and farted one, somehow I missed that first time round.

My favourite recent one was the AIBU about whether showing your lady parr’s was a thing. For one, it was such a random concept - NO IT IS NOT A THING, and two, I genuinely laughed at the descriptions two posters gave of their own aforementioned parts: ‘mine looks like two mice fighting in a bag’ and another looked like a ‘punched lasagne.’

The one where the OP was incandescent with rage about the good rep dolphins have when really they are ruthless sociopaths.

Two stand out to me

-Penis breath... where a boyfriend kissed his partner and said he could smell another mans penis on her breath and was convinced she was cheating 😆

-The second was asking if someone's personality could change the way you felt about someone. This woman saw a bloke and rated him '4/10' but then realised he was successful and became '9/10' and decided she wanted to be stepmom to his kids. I'm not sure she'd even spoken to him

Really? She was so angry at her boyfriend she farted. The way she casually dropped that into the story was great.

I also enjoyed the one where op got in to a shouting match with hotel staff because they brought out a starter at the same time as the mains. Apparently the children were delirious with hunger and tiredness from travelling, and op and her husband expected them all to sit there and watch while daddy ate a starter. Children in tears, staff shouting, late at night and staff were trying to close up, they refused to pay. It was mental.

She updated on a later thread (what happened to etc) that they Did indeed get together, she stopped posting after feeling she was over sharing and a few accusations it was too well written

A pp above has reminded me of the young OP who had found out she was pregnant but hid it for ages and finally told her mum at like, 7-8 months along? Lovely happy ending.
