Had our Christmas food shop delivered and keep peeking into the fridge with joy.

Totally empty right now (apart from the game pie and chutneys from Fortnums)

Good chutney selection! I actually forced the Fortnum's marmalade to the front of mine to look fancier.

My family are big drinkers 😂🙈

My husband had never had marmalade till he met me and he's terrified of anything from Fortnums. He looks at our fridge at Xmas a mutters under his breath stuff about posh food and "what's wrong with cheese footballs?"

Works for me though. Neither him, nor his dad, like champagne so I get to drink the lot. Haha!

Ooh nice OP! What are those on the right, pickled shallots? I bought pickled walnuts this year because my Nan always had them. I will probably eat only one! They were a bugger to buy too as I don’t even live in the UK anymore.

Mines empty except for half a pint of milk and a carton of orange juice.

Shoppings being delivered at 10ish though so should look a lot better soon

@WereYouHareWhenIWasFox they're my sister's Christmas Pickled Eggs. I bloody love pickled eggs but will only have them at Xmas so they're special.

I didn't get them last year as her family ate the lot before I got to see her.

She even does little holly drawings on the label.

I last did them with Frank’s red hot sauce. A little bit dirty but a lot amazing too! Try it!

I have an industrial sized bottle of Franks in the fridge too. They sound AMAZING!

This is mine. I’ve still got a bit to do on Christmas Eve - turkey and other more perishables but I’m delighted with our haul so far. DH and my parents drink red wine so obviously that’s not in the fridge. Prosecco is for starters and the cans of cocktails are for moi!

My brother is coming today and has, for last six christmases, given us a Fortnums hamper. I'm not expecting it but I'll be rather chuffed if he brings one.

I literally squealed with glee the first year. My dsis always makes a comment about him getting them via his business but I like shiny things and couldn't care less.
