Had our Christmas food shop delivered and keep peeking into the fridge with joy.

Can I see the insides of your fridges?

We’re at relatives for Christmas Day and Boxing Day, then OH is back to work (he’s on nights Christmas Eve too).
Fourth year on the trot. Therefore our Christmas food shop, and fridge contents is basically inordinate amounts of cheese.

No complaints here.

I thought you shouldn't put open tins in a fridge? Something like the cold reacts and iron seeps into your beans. Husband moans at me for decanting his precious beans into plastic containers when he does this.

Though tbf I'm always taking tins out of my dad's fridge. He has also tried to microwave them on numerous occasions.

Please put raw meat at the bottom of your fridges to stop any drips contaminating the rest of your food.

Kids unpacked the shopping yesterday and I’m too scared to move anything as it will all probably fall out. I have 14 at my table Christmas Day and 10 Boxing Day.

My fridge lightbulb died about 8 months ago and I still can’t work out how to get the cover off and replace it it’s my New Years resolution to sort it in 2019!

Thankfully I have glass shelves so nothing drips down to lower shelves hence my turkey being in the middle

I dream of an American size fridge and a chest freezer big enough for a body!

I'd love an American fridge but our kitchen is too small. Sob.

We have a chest freezer in the garage though. Bloody love it.

I grew up with both (our American fridge was 50 years old and still working perfectly when my mum sold it). I find "normal" fridges so strange.

Meanwhile my lazy mog is lounging about while I do the cleaning

@dontneedthedrama we had one last year too and it was really good. Courtesy of my Mum and Dad - we lay on everything else and they provide the bird and the booze!

Collecting the turkey and gammon from the Butchers this afternoon.
We haven’t done a big food shop this year - we’ve shopped around and got bits from M&S and bits from lidl. We’re only feeding four for Christmas dinner and just doing antipasti & a cheeseboard for Christmas evening!

Both fridges full to the brim. Hosting Xmas day and Boxing Day and the 27th.

Can't wait 

Christmas food shop delivered on Friday. All wine etc is outside staying cold as there’s no room in the fridge

Mine's bloody chaos, had my shopping delivered at 10.30 last night so shoved it in and went to bed.

Need to go and pick up my cheeses today so I'll sort it all out when I get back.

Mine. 13 for Christmas Day (2 children out of that) and 26 Boxing Day. Turkey still to come.

And yes the fridge was horrible before. I did clean it before I put all the food in.

Here’s mine, full to the brim and so are the cupboards and freezer, having a buffet on Xmas day this year and a Xmas roast on Boxing Day

I also have another fridge freezer in garage which has other bits in including a whole salmon for Xmas eve
