It took me quite a while to figure out what you mean. Can't we at least say Parent Christmas?

So ordinary children without gender identity not wanting to be forced to wear a certain type of uniform because of their sex was not important enough to abolish gendered uniforms?
Just children with gender identities are important enough?

What does he mean? Girls, regardless of what they believe in their heads, will have periods. It is hardly a novel concept. 
Sounds a bit like he is confused by all this weird use of language already. I can relate.
