Many people and organisations use these words interchangerbly. The meaning is always clear. I actually don't give a stuff if others disagree.

OP posts:
Pennydrew142 · 14/12/2018 13:22

I'd say roughly 85% of the lesbians I know disagree with you on that, and pretty damn strongly.

So? What is that evidence of? Just that you hang with similar minded people. It’s not representative of lesbians any more than every single lesbian friend of mine who agrees its homophobic.

Pennydrew142 · 14/12/2018 13:23

While both homosexuality and transsexualism have been labelled mental illnesses/condition one is and one isn't. The parallel no longer exists where decades ago the parallel could have been drawn.

This!!

GlitterStick · 14/12/2018 13:25

All the lesbian's you know? Ok, just because you know some lesbian's I'll bet you don't speak for all of them.
Kind of like on the trans issue.
There are parallels in this.

VickyEadie · 14/12/2018 13:27

In fact, if any group is being 'demonised, erased and excluded', it's women.

The infiltration by transwomen into women's sport is well underway, for example. It won't be long before women can't hope to win in their own sports and simply give up.

Then there's the fact that women can't be addressed on issues that apply to them and their biology any more - we're "bleeders" or "cervix havers". Men continue to be addressed as men, however - not 'poor pissers' when it comes to prostate issued, or 'non-erection havers' when it comes to erectile dysfunction.

All the lesbian's you know?

If you'd read the thread properly, you'd see I wasn't the first person to use that phrase...

RivanQueen · 14/12/2018 13:30

All the lesbians I know agree with it as well actually.
They aren't interested in dick but if a TW claims they are a lesbian and yet still have their male genitalia and they are rebuffed by lesbians then its the lesbian who is being told she's a bigot, that she's in the wrong, that she's a "transphobe" when she absolutely isn't, she just doesn't want to have sex with men and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. How is forcing lesbians to accept men as sexual partners not attempting to erase them?

Indeed. Any lesbian who doesn't think this = not a lesbian at all.

Ereshkigal · 14/12/2018 13:36

I'd say the opposite. Like you, that probably is related to my circle of friends.

^^This! 100%

The International Olympic Committee have just allowed a M2F trans volleyball player to participate in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. It's an utter disgrace. One of the Brazillian olympic volleyball players has been brave enough to speak up and has written an open letter to the IOC. Link below...

GlitterStick · 14/12/2018 13:39

So we have a couple of people with lesbian friends and all their lesbian friends don't want it? Ok, fair enough. That's not speaking for all though. Just like with trans.
Anyone can say no to anyone if they don't want sex. That's called consent. You don't even need to go into reasons.
Just say no. Don't want to. Go away etc.
Anyone pushing the matter is being abusive. An extremist trans saying you have to - erm no, whoever or whatever your orientation.

Ereshkigal · 14/12/2018 13:39

In some men, of course. And?

You dodged the second part.

Or do you think all male people who do it have the special woman essence discussed earlier?

Do you? Or do you make a distinction? And at what point do you make it?

RivanQueen · 14/12/2018 13:39

Pennydrew142

Nobody is demonising trans by wanting to keep women’s boundaries. Gay men aren’t allowed in our changing rooms either.

Nobody wants anybody ‘erased’.

Nobody is ‘excluding them’. They’re literally being treated like everyone else. Everyone else is expected to observe sex based protections.

Absolutely, well said.

Ereshkigal · 14/12/2018 13:41

Yeah, neither can Fox, who brought up their 85% of lesbian friends.

VickyEadie · 14/12/2018 13:43

Yeah, neither can Fox, who brought up their 85% of lesbian friends.

And to whom I was responding, Glitterstick - had you bothered to read the thread properly.

Ereshkigal · 14/12/2018 13:46

Believing exclusive same sex attraction is transphobic and bigoted, and whining about it, as many TRAs do, is objectively homophobic. It doesn't matter how much gaslighting women have been subjected to to deny this.

Ereshkigal · 14/12/2018 13:49

And I guess it's quite possible that some of Fox's lesbian friends are straight or bisexual male people. That's what happens when you strip away the language of an oppressed class of people.

RivanQueen · 14/12/2018 13:51

Ereshikigal I was wondering myself how many of Fox's 85% were TW's, straight or bi-sexual men Hmm.

Ereshkigal · 14/12/2018 13:55

They could even be gay males.

Ereshkigal · 14/12/2018 13:56

Does literally none of this even give you pause for thought, Fox?

RivanQueen · 14/12/2018 14:14

Still hanging out to be told when a TW magically becomes a woman. Fox? Glitter? Anyway you can enlighten me?

Why do I feel like I'm speaking into a void when I ask this question?? Hmm

Datun · 14/12/2018 14:33

I'd say roughly 85% of the lesbians I know disagree with you on that, and pretty damn strongly.

Meaningless nonsense. Do you mean lesbians with a penis?

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 14/12/2018 16:09

Still hanging out to be told when a TW magically becomes a woman

mmm. ducking the pertinent, simple questions and instead choosing to blather on about syllogisms

I'm not a big fan of the phrase 'I see you', but in this case, I really, really do.

Gileswithachainsaw · 14/12/2018 16:16

Well men have long hair.

I'm.sure Jared leto wore nail polish and guy liner too on occasion. David Beckham has been photographed in a sarong. Will smiths son has been seen wearing dresses/tunics as well I believe. Plenty of men have bigger "boobs" than i do.

So this magical point must be full surgery right? So that makes them as "transphobic" as the rest of us no?

RivanQueen · 14/12/2018 16:25

Bernard I think they've realised that many of us on here see them very clearly hence why there is a sudden silence from certain posters. It's hard to fight a rational, logical argument with "it's the same, but it's different", "you're twisting my words", and syllogisms and clownfish.

Giles they might think this is the magical point but a man without a penis is still a man so I guess that can't be it. Maybe it's the magical woman essence that was raised earlier although how this essence could be seen by anyone is yet to be explained. There was a politician (I can't remember her name) who recently claimed she could see people's souls and would allow TW into women's spaces based on what she could see but I think this is a talent only she has and maybe the Long Island Medium

Gileswithachainsaw · 14/12/2018 16:30

Perhaps they can.bottle and sell this essence detector ability?

Change a are if they knocked on their hair and were confronted by them on.joggers and a t shirt they'd look like any other bloke...

Easy to say "you see it" when they pose in photos covering their Adams apple whilst squishing their fake mounds together.

Doubt they all.sit at home.dressed like male fantasty porn stars like they do on tv
