My front door and the frame don't join together properly so it's absolutely freezing in my house.
The drafts are so bad.
They have been out today and say nothing they can do.
Can I have your opinion?
Or advice what I can do please?
It's so cold

If there wasn't that gap when the weather gets wet and damp and the wood expands slightly you'd be stuck in the blooming house unable to open the door! It's totally normal with wood front doors for there to be that kind of gap and most people just use that foam stick on insulation tape and a door curtain.

At least it's not like the last house we rented where DH went to shut the door and the entire bloody handle fell off the first day we were in the place.

Fire safe! Confused
It’s a wooden door!
It is not used to stop fire spreading, it is for exiting.
