To ask for your most missed shops?

This year my heart was broken by Toys "R" Us closing, just wondered what other shops that have closed do you miss?
This year we've had maplins, BHS I believe was this year, Mothercare will all be gone by next year summer too.
As a teen I used to love Bay Trading, and a shop called Tammy Girl.

La Senza still exists in the US, owned by L Brands who also own Victoria’s Secret. Boux Avenue replaced them here, down to the scented beads. I don’t think their stuff is as ‘fun’ though. IIRC Theo Paphitas bought LS, sold it then opened Boux Avenue.

Dan Evans was a shop in my town and it was FAB! We had a Bay, loads of electrical, kids section, furniture it was amazing! Do miss wollworths too!

Athena - I bought a poster of a 40's couple kissing in the back of a car. My mum refused to allow it in the house I used to love a wander round there.
Is Planet still on the go? I lived in their suits, in the power dressing 90s.
BHS - best swimwear and home department.
Woolies - used to go in on a Saturday and buy singles. God I feel old!

Forgot bout Bay trading. Loved that shop when I was in college

Wrygges, The Pier , Stirling Cooper, and Sephora when it left the uK, obviously it's still elsewhere

I miss Jane Norman too. I used to always get my work clothes from there and my bootcut jeans. Towards the end they stopped selling the stuff i liked and focused on skimpy dresses.

It's still open, but I used to love Whistles c2006 and since whoever took it over just after then I haven't wanted to buy anything in there.

Past Times - got some lovely bits from there, and lots of presents

The Pier. I got a much coverted blanket in their closing sale. Such bitter sweet joy as I’d just started working and could finally afford one.

Woolies and their fabulous pick and mix.

Just so so many lovely places.

This is a local one but I've only just found out that Selectadisc in Nottingham closed down a few years ago- spent hours in those record shops as a teenager
Has yeomans closed now as well? That was always good for camping stuff and army jackets

Ann Harvey, a plus size clothes shop that did some fabulous quality clothes, especially for evening and had great sales. The Oxford Street branch was always heaving.

Definitely Athena, the posters in there were so lovely. I had the one of the topless guy with a baby on his knees.
