To ask how old you are?

The ‘butter or no butter’ thread has made me curious. My kids reckon loving butter is a generational thing, but I’d be surprised if all the butter lovers on here are over 50.

I’ll start. I’m 67 and I love butter.

30. Butter all the way in this house.

33 and I LOVE butter

37, and I’m another one who’s discovered the joys of butter after an 80s childhood of terrible margarine.

49 and can’t tell the difference between both.

Never brought a tub of “spread” or marg in the five years I’ve had my own house!

44 and love butter. I hardly ever had it in childhood, though. My parents bought Vitalite because they thought it was healthier (wo-oh ... Vitalite )

Hate it and 39 much prefer spread.

I'm 51. Butter is ok but I never seem to reach for it unless very hungry. Purely for taste, I much prefer mayo, avo, peanut butter or cream.
I loathe butter or marg in sandwiches. Just wrong.

I use spread on sandwiches but love butter on toast and scones. I am over 50 but the young uns in the house are the same.

42, another LCHF here. Cook everything in butter and add to coffee

I'm 54 & I love real butter. As do DH & DS.

We don't have spreads in the house, It's nasty artificial stuff IMO.

33. Love butter. Kids are 7 and 8. Both love butter (have to stop the littlest from eating it from the fridge...)
