Are the likes of Myra Hindley and Rose West not women? They must not be if doing awful things is something only men do.

yes that what everyone in this thread is saying evil things = man Hmm

rather then penis = man
and man who does evil things should be recorded as man doing evil things in the stats and when they are jailed going to male prison.

Chosennone · 10/11/2018 17:39

Women dont have penises.
Transwomen may have a penis, and that's fine, but they are not women and should not be able to access sex segregated spaces.

Shriek · 10/11/2018 17:40

Sorry that should have been @JAPAB

Who has said women don't commit crime and that only men do?

The argument is that someone with a penis is MALE and if they commit a crime it should be reported as a MALE CRIME not a FEMALE CRIME.

Myra Hindley and Rose West didn't have a penis did they?

If they had then no they were not women and the crimes should have been properly reported as done by men.

However if they (as I believe they did) were born and had female parts then they are women and the crimes were properly reported as done by women.

Shriek · 10/11/2018 17:49

Call police to account over mis-reporting

Not all men are violent.
Not all men are sexual predators.
However:
Most sexual predators are men.
Most violence is committed by men. The victims of said violence are mostly other men, but male violence against women and children is particularly damaging because the perpetrators are so much bigger and stronger than the people they attack.

Some women are violent.
Some women are sexual predators.
In both cases, the proportion getting to court and ending up in jail is very small, compared to men.

It is really, really important that the crime statistics continue to be an accurate record of who's doing what to whom, because otherwise how can researchers/social policy makers/MPs/police/probation service staff/social workers/teachers/parents know what the risk factors are and which groups to prioritise when doing preventative work? Why should women find themselves labelled as 'increasingly violent' when in fact the answer is that some crime recorded as committed by women was actually committed by a male-bodied person who identifies as female?

It's not 'doing awful things' that's a tell of being male. It's having a penis. And penises are required for rape.

There isen't such a thing called a Female penis as Females do not have one, biological Males or transwomen do.

lassupthebrew · 10/11/2018 18:09

Cavemum, that's because the 90% are not transsexual - the only ones who are covered by the Gender Recognition Act right now. They are transgender and have no medical condition and so do not want to alter their bodies or see doctors.

This is why there is such a fuss right now to alter the act, remove the necessity for dysphoria, not require any medical assessment or treatment and just self declare that you have changed sex. And be allowed to do so.

It is quite obviously absurd and no sane government should be even considering it.

Of the just under 5000 transsexuals who have been recognised in the past 14 years just over 3000 are transsexual women and the others are transsexual men.

Surgery is more uncommon with transsexual men as options are limited and more recent. Some transsexual women do not have reassignment surgery due to age or ill health but the majority do as that is what dysphoria means as someone posted earlier.

There are no exact figures but it is believed that about 60% of the transsexual women in the 3000 covered so far have had surgery. And the others have all been psychiatrically assessed. Copy birth certificates can only be altered with support from two doctors.

If self D is introduced all of that will be meaningless as the majority of those by passing doctors altogether and gaining legal status will have a penis.

Therein lies the problem.

Shriek · 10/11/2018 18:10

Aeroflot that's the point though. You have just written an oxymoron.
Transwomen have male penis. Maleness you see, not femaleness. Maleness.
Penis, maleness
Penis = male
Female = vulva, & lack of maleness/penis
Not one and the same
Different things
You can't have your cake and eat it
How can you have a penis and call yourself a woman? I.e female penis.
You seem to be saying that a female penis is a thing?

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 10/11/2018 18:11

@JAPAB - nowhere on this thread has anyone said that only men do evil things - NOWHERE!

I am saying that a person who rapes a woman, using their penis is a man. Rape with a penis is a male crime.

Also, the penis is a male sex organ. There is no such thing, in scientific human biology, as a ‘lady penis’.

Oh, and while I am at it, if you have a penis and identify as female, but seek to guilt-trip lesbians to have penis in vagina sex with you and your penis, a) you are NOT a lesbian and b) they are doing nothing wrong by saying No!

Totorosfluffytummy · 10/11/2018 18:12

Crazy that we even have to say it but...

Women Do Not Have Penises

Anyone born with a penis is a boy or a man :)

Aeroflotgirl · 10/11/2018 18:15

shreik that is why I said (Trans) women, who most people will know are biological male. On
Yes biological Male can have a penis. Even though they are transwomen, their penis is part of their Male biology and is therefore a male organ.it has never been or will be Female.

Aeroflotgirl · 10/11/2018 18:17

Meant only biological Males can have a penis

ShotsFired · 10/11/2018 18:17

Aaah I see JAPAB has come along to share his manly wisdom. Thank goodness.

No doubt Roly will be along to tell everyone that women are just as bad or something too.

We might even hit the jackpot with everyone's favourite translawyer (translawyers are lawyers!), Steph.

BUT THE FACT REMAINS THAT WOMEN DON'T HAVE PENISES.

Nicknamesalltaken · 10/11/2018 18:18

I can’t think of anything that could hurt a trans person more than the proposed self-Id.

Removing the need for a medical assessment, are we going to see unregulated clinics, here and abroad? GP referrals won’t be necessary - see a lawyer instead. Susie Green doesn’t think psychological assessment should be necessary so let’s go straight to life changing surgery and spend a lifetime on medication. Oh but what if GD isn’t the problem? What is it isn’t the answer? Are those young people now, questioning their gender (because it’s a ‘thing’ now) going to thank the grown ups for encouraging the removal of heathy body parts and need it reversed - if indeed it can be - if they need (or want) to detransition?

Changing sex should be the very last resort when everything else has been investigated and examined. Care needs to given. Proper care and guidance. This Is where the trans voices need to heard. Gaining support, ensuring services are in place.

But no, let’s shout ‘transphobe’ at women who have fought these battles already.

lassupthebrew · 10/11/2018 18:24

Nicknamesalltaken - that is what the 14 transsexuals are saying in that blog and many of them say on Twitter they have said the same to the government consultation. But the government seem to be listening to people like Susie Green and not those they wrote the law for in the first place. You have to wonder why.

In 2004 when the act was created doctors told the government that about 5000 transsexuals existed in the UK and would use the act. As of the August 2018 there were 4910 registered.

You might call that an accurate prediction. The government called it too few people applying for coverage by the law to justify the plan to change.

That statement is only true if you disregard doctors and science and redefine who qualifies for the act. But the government never told anyone this is what they are doing.

Shriek · 10/11/2018 18:29

What can we do?
It defies everything that a woman can have a penis. I don't mean hermaphrodites as discussed eaelier

OP posts:
TigerDrankAllTheWaterInTheTap · 10/11/2018 18:32

Don't be so defeatist, Nickname! If a teenage girl has a double mastectomy so she can become a trans man, but then a few years later detransitions and wants her breasts back, she can easily have them replaced! We know this because one of the top gender specialists in the USA said so at a conference, so it must be true. drive.google.com/file/d/1Lwp66N-zAJjoWSEkDJRrEH2UOoFOALX0/view

JacquesHammer · 10/11/2018 18:36

What’s really ironic on a personal level, is that I’ve been trying to get sterilised for 4 years. Except I can’t bexause “I might change my mind”.

TigerDrankAllTheWaterInTheTap · 10/11/2018 18:38

I am just a teensy bit sceptical about that 5000 estimate. From what I can make out, the Labour government in 2004 was told if they could get the GRA through it would just make life easier for a tiny, very troubled group of people. The GRA was debated in Parliament and (it pains me to say this but it can't be avoided) Lord Tebbit and Anne Widdecombe, amongst others, saw immediately that this new piece of legislation could cause problems for women and girls. It's all there in Hansard. However, the government just kept repeating it would only be 5000 people and most MPs and Lords seem to have swallowed that.

Lo and behold, within a very few years, Stonewall and other allied groups are back knocking at the government's door saying it's all too prescriptive and there are thousands and thousands of other people who want a GRC but can't meet the conditions. So the Tory government, desperate to throw off its homphobic past and seeing this as just another aspect of the gay rights agenda, says 'Brilliant idea, leave it with us' and here we are. Hmm Not an impact assessment in sight.

Shriek · 10/11/2018 18:39

Yes young women undertake permanent sterility, and young men who really don't identify as men, I.e. don't like being male, don't like having a penis.

OP posts:
Shriek · 10/11/2018 18:41

Permanent sterility, yet you can't get the snip?!!
